scats tied up 21-21 lol

Did you really “lol” or just find it a bit humorous? I only ask because I actually did laugh at loud when your gris lost to UND (who just lost to Indiana state) and then did it again after they lost toWeber (who lost Northern Colorado). Huge props to that vaunted grizzle defense for taking care of Poly, N. Colorado and Big Sky powerhouse NAU
Are they doing that on bubnation or here on eGRIZ? I trust you can understand the difference.

And they're doing that because your schedule has been a freakin joke.

I’m definitely doing it here. Been watching this site for a while and I just wanted to get a little rise out of you.

I already agreed that their schedule is lighter than usual. I’m now claiming that I believe as the year has gone on the um schedule is a freaking joke. Cats have better wins in UNM and Idaho and um has two horrible losses.

According to Massey, Missouri State is a higher quality win than UNM.

Cats don't have better wins. Your post is wrong and a freaking joke.

New Mexico isn't a very good win. They have won only 3 games. They just got beaten by lowly Wyoming. Missouri State is a much better team. Western Carolina is probably a better team.

In the Sagarin, before this weekend, UNM is rated 122 (they will drop because of their loss today), Idaho is 130, Missouri St is 113, UND is 112 (they will drop after their loss today).

UM is 106.

The Cats haven't played anyone rated very high. Again, as of last weekend, the Cats have the lowest SOS in the conference, in both Sagarin and Massey.

And Montana has the #2 and the #4 teams remaining on the schedule. Freaking joke?

An FBS win is still better win than a bubble Missouri St team. I don’t care if the committee are using those rankings only. They have more scolarships and the committee is full of people that have used FBS wins in the past with more weight. The committtee won’t change that thinking overnight.

I was slightly wrong in my other post too. Mo. St’s best win is Illinois state, which is an okay win. They are still going to end up 8-4 and that “would” have put them bubble to get in the playoffs. WCU and UND are going to miss the playoffs. Go ahead and beat your chests about how much “better” the um schedule is but the eye test doesn’t write the same story.

Majic, the cats have the #5 and #10 left and beat the #7. By your logic there cats have a good schedule or are the grizzles considered part of the joke schedule?

You are wrong. Committee looks at strength of teams and schedule not wins over weak FBS teams. You don’t have a clue.

All of my posts are looking backward at teams already played. Cats have had a weak schedule to date. None of my posts on Cat SOS are looking forward or to final SOS. All looking at teams played to date.

Kid, learn to read.

Agreed 100%.

It's just odd that chest puffing is all we hear from your fanbase. On our board.

Did I mention how weird that is?
Uuummmm ... This thread just like all the others were started by the grizzly fan base in your fan site... The cats are living in your head my dude!!

This.

As Sac rightly says, neither team has anything to be overly proud of yet. And yet our board is flooded with bubs talking about how they'd go 16-1 in the nfl, and how the wine guy is better than Lamar or Mahomes.

Perhaps they'll win the title. Perhaps they lose their next 3. But do something -- ANNNNNYTHING -- before being a complete ass on your rival's board (a rival who may be playing better ball the last month and who kicked your ass to Katmandu last year).
At 9-0.. what exactly do you want the bobcats to do... Do you want them to play some pick up games on Wednesday afternoon?

Notice how I was responding to Majic’s comment about looking forward and not yours? I am discussing strength of um schedule and best wins with you. As the season has progressed, the um schedule has looked weaker and weaker as. If you want to base the SOS soly on where teams were ranked at the times the games were played, then yes the um SOS is much stronger. I would still rather have wins over Idaho and UNM over wins over M. State and WCU with two horrible losses. I just don’t believe that there is this wide gap between um’s and the cats SOS like you’re making out there to be. You are free to feel different though.

Yeah. It’s more the wins against 3-6 UNM, 1-9 Utah Tech, 4-5 Maine, 2-7 Mercyhurst, 4-5 Idaho State, 1–8 UNC, 2-6 PSU and 2-7 EWU that makes us question the ‘Scats’ dominance. Montana’s wins are 7-2 Missouri State (BUBBLE TEAM??? They’re 5-0 in the MFVC and at worst will end up 6-2, 8-4 overall), 6-3 Morehead State. 5-4 WCU, 5-4 NAU, and then EWU, UNC & CP.

You literally have ONE win against a team with a pulse—and in THAT game you got their 2nd and 3rd string QB’s. You gave up 21 to UNC. TWENTY ONE!! And 350 yards of offense, against their 7th string QB (who we shut down, BTW). You struggled with EWU on the tampon, just like the Griz did. And now you catch Sac (one of the FEW projected “tough” games on your schedule at the beginning of the season) on a horribly down year.

The stars have definitely aligned for the ‘Scats this year to breeze into the Brawl undefeated. Not sure that’ll be helpful come the morning of the 23rd.

One thing you’re right about: those were two horrible losses. Both games we should have won. And it may end up biting us in the ass come playoff selection time.

You are not evaluating the Griz competition properly. Nor are you evaluating the Cat competition properly. That is why the SOS services disagree with you and agree with me. You can think what you want, but you are wrong. The Griz losses weren’t horrible. Close. And one more play in each games makes UM undefeated.

Where did I say there was a wide gap. I have said the Cat schedule is weak and worst in the conference. Don’t think I have said anything about Griz schedule.

Honestly can't remember when we gave up 21 to NCU. Certainly wasn't this year. I do remember being up 34-0 in that game before clearing the benches.

I don’t follow EWU closely, but I have read that they have been using three QBs all season situationally. In any event, a win is a win. Eastern is a tough place to play as the Griz have also experienced. The Cat offense played good as usual. The Cats seem to always be a little out of synch coming off a bye week.
While Visperas is our starting QB we'll try to pull off some trickery by running multiple QB formations, bring it a different QB, etc.

The problem is when we do that, it's an immediate sign we're most certainly going to run the ball.

I wouldn't go thumping your chest over the offensive performance. EWU's defense is historically bad as of late. And that's saying something.
