And thank god. With this year and last year the clusterfuck that is the normal big sky championship where the team that wins usually ducks the other top teams isn't happening. Whoever wins the championship this year will have absolutely earned it, just like last season.
Yep. Scats have had some fucking luck though. Played Idaho with their backup QB, got Sac on a down year…and get Davis and UM at home.
AND played EWU when they were without their starting (VERY productive) QB.
They travel to Davis, but you're right about their luck missing some good starting QBs.

I’m very sorry about some of our fan base being so ridiculous here. I actually enjoy following all of the conference and reading all of your perspectives. Looking forward to reading everyone’s thoughts on the Griz UC Davis matchup.
I'm very worried about the Davis game, but glad we get them at home. We shall see how it goes.

Here is my perspective. Thank goodness the Griz have Davis at home. I expect it to go down to the last play! From what I saw of Davis, Cats and Griz against EWU - any of them could win the BSC. None of the three is far superior to the other two. I will say the Griz were still trying to get guys healthy on defense when they played EWU. You could probably say health is an issue for every team though. The team that continually improves and keeps the fire in their belly will win the BSC. All three teams have a tough stretch now. The cream will rise. I like the Griz’s chances with two QB’s and a team that seems to be coming together.
One things for sure, Sac St is garbage.

Last year around this time, poorcatz was downplaying giving up “two hundo” of rushing yards against some team, I think suck state. I said if they give up “two hundo” in rushing yards to The Griz, it will be a bloodbath. Griz ended up rushing for 202

I only ask because I actually did laugh at loud when your gris lost to UND (who just lost to Indiana state) and then did it again after they lost toWeber (who lost Northern Colorado). Huge props to that vaunted grizzle defense for taking care of Poly, N. Colorado and Big Sky powerhouse NAU

The point is we wouldn't have won if Pennington had played. PJ London is a RS Junior and hadn't played in a game to speak of in his career. There is a reason for that.
I think we would've won even if he had played.

How about we switch the topic to gris nation beating the Cats down because they haven’t played anyone? I agree it’s been a more light schedule than usual and I’m enjoying them being 10-0. On the flip side, what’s the gris’ best win? Missouri state? A team transitioning that chose to keep the same amount of scholarships as the other FCS schools and their best win is UT Martin out of the OVC. Not the most illustrious schedule there is it?
