We weren’t arguing whether they were a “good” team. He claimed that because the 4 teams they lost to were all in (or in Idaho’s case, playing for a spot in) the semifinals, that the ‘Scats were somehow “just as good” as those four teams.

How does that logic even compute?

I've also had bubs fans saying all weekend the bsc was overrated. Uhh, four playoff teams (should have been five), three seeds, 2 in the quarters, one in the semis.



Nahhhh, I think the bsc was fine. Now, the BUBS were likely overrated. But don't blame that on the conference

Yes and my neighbor took it a step farther.

We delivered the annual holiday platters to all the neighbors, almost all sugar cookies shaped in the “Griz” script and also fudge teddy bears.

He said the bubs were “the best team in the bsc” but just got the hardest draw.

Hey, when you lose to every good team you play, it means you’re just as good as they are. Look at it this way: if it hadn’t been for the Bobs losing to every good team they played, they would’ve beaten every good team they played. So, probably just as good as the good teams. There’s really no way to know for sure…
