Scat Fans Slay Me

I actually try and have empathy for Cat fans. It has to suck being a punching bag for sooooo many years. 16 in a row. Come one, that is like a damn curse. They have a chip on their shoulder for good reason. Then they break the curse, get to the Natty and completely crap down their leg. Next year they beat the Griz and then crap down their leg. This year, crap down their leg. So, what we have is a bus steadily rolling back down the hill and a couple of irresponsible coordinators to hit the brakes. Doesn’t look overly promising. Yes, they are delusional fans. They have to be. God love those poor buggers. Been on the receiving end for so long. The envy ruins their sleeps and crushes their waking hours. Some in Montana wear 406 gear. Cats fans wear the 5,840 cloud over their head. Debilitating. .

I honestly thought maybe this was a fake account. 30 seconds on it told me it wasn't. That time did nothing to dampen my thoughts that Jeff may be a lunatic, however.

Even for a prairie cow, that's definitely NOT something to be proud of... I'd actually be a little concerned as everything the Scats touch turns to crap, smells like crap, or just plain falls down...Nope, definitely NOT something to be Mooing about...
 
If the Cats go 0-12 against teams.next year, no worries. They will be just as good as all of them. Cat logic, defense mechanism forged in the 0-16 flaming dumpster fire of the streak. You almost have to feel sorry for them. Nah.

To this day I still can’t believe that post. That was 10+ years ago too. He dead serious and made a thread on Bobcat Nation too. “I know we have injuries, but have you considered that our backups might be even better than our starters??”

Great post. I have also tried to show cat fans mercy, knowing they are destined for tiny bouts of joy surrounded by complete failure. Sometimes I feel like an absolute jerk wearing a Griz hat in their presence. If nothing else, I know it triggers football PTSD and a lifetime of heartache that will NEVER go away. Some of them don't even know what they suffer from, just angry at everything, confusion. I try and steer them towards help without sounding too condescending. I do what I can.
 
Speaking of cat fans, where the heck did they go? I swear there were 20-30 of them around here not long ago. Hopefully no one left the antifreeze out. There's still lots of football to be played, why disappear right in the peak of the season?

They have a 4 page thread on Ref Accountability.....game was obviously handed to Griz. Huge no calls on every big play that benefited Griz. Several phantom calls against NDSU.

Blocks in back on all Bergen returns, Bergen didn't score first td in OT, super obvious PI on the 2 point attempt for NDSu, no way offensive PI on Ndsu, obvious offensive holdings by Griz on pretty much every play.

Literally......so many missed calls and all obviously part of a huge conspiracy. The world has it out for the poor Bobcats. Even when screwing Ndsu over it's indirectly part of a bigger Bobcat thing. It's probably a 6 page thread by now.

Um, how is calling NDSU's false starts & policing any unsportsmanlike conduct but otherwise letting the teams just play "screwing" NDSU?

There was a slight hope with the team’s recent success that the fans might be able to shed the Lil’ Bro affect but holy hell, they are doubling down. All their wailing and gnashing of teeth comes to exactly NOTHING. See you next year little brothers!

I love seeing all their loud mouth know it all fans just disappear. That's all fcs fans nation was for most of the year and now the sound of silence from scat nation ✌️
 
What you see on BN is only a small amount of fans no different than EGRIZ. This Bobcat fan thought the refs did an okay job. There were some missed calls, but all games have some missed calls and bad calls. They weren't as bad as Big Sky refs. I don't think the refs had anything to do with the outcome of the game. I thought both teams played a heck of game, especially the Griz. The Griz were very well prepared and the coaching staff did a heck of a job. Also, the crowd was the 12th man. I give Bobby credit with making the changes he made to the staff after the NAU game. These were his buddies and it had to be tough for him. It was a team turn around for the ages. I will be rooting for the Montana kids in the Championship. Enjoy the ride, win or lose. Have fun in Frisco.

I thought they changed changed the OC and DC. No one got fired but those changes were made?
