Scary Day & Age

Let's face one fact - If the human race had started in this type of legal and social environment none of us would be here now. The race would not have survived!

I am not advocating violence against women, men or anything else. I'm just recognizing that our morality has far exceeded our biology. Whether that's good or bad is for each to decide. I'm just stating an inescapable conclusion.

Hmmm, have an opinion, get burned by the egriz masses!

Oh joy, someone hiding behind the opinion tag no less. Yes, you do have an opinion; how precious. Also, just for opinion sake, here, isn't there the fact that a case could be made for or against slander and/or libel? Yeah, you may have an opinion, but your right to swing your arms around ends where my body begins. Now go and hide behind the anonymity of your postings, if it makes you feel so much bigger and important while you hide in your mother's basement typing out your venom.

Oh, yes, I know how entitled you are; but please, don't have recourse to holding your breathe again till you turn blue just to force sorrow upon us all; it really does get a rather tiresome after a bit.

Interesting to see the reactions. Honestly, I'm glad they gave JJ his life back. He was found not guilty and that's all that matters. It will be great to see how he handles the rest of the season, I'm going to guess it's a slow start at first, but he has a real knack for getting things going late in the season. It makes things a lot more interesting for sure.

As for those who can't handle a person with an opposing view, lighten up and use your head, there were maybe 2 valid points made against me. The rest was high school name calling BS.

I hope the Big Sky Championship goes through Montana, one university or the other.

Sounds like bozely's dad came on to clean up his mess.

Nah, just like to watch you get butthurt every now and then, you must be familiar with it right now. Your reaction was pretty good. :thumb:

i don't mind the opposing view. welcomed, in fact. thought JJ was most likely guilty when i first read about the whole thing, but read the testimony and, by the end of the trial, did a 180. my suggestion: read the testimony. kid was tied to the anchor that is the DOJ investigation and drug to the bottom of the ocean.

Give me a break, keep it in your pants and stay away from the crazies. If you're not an idiot (or a rapist) you won't have those kinds of problems.

You can do all that and still be accused. Let's say you give a woman a ride home and two months later, for whatever reason, she says that you raped her. Since there was no sex, you can't argue consent. And there is no evidence, although the prosecutor will say that she was so traumatized it took that long for her to come forward and that is proof that it happened. All the local anti-men groups will tell you that women never lie about this sort of thing, so it must be true.

Social interactions between people are far too complicated to put into a black and white type of analysis. And the politics of sex just raised the level of difficulty exponentially.

First they came for the communists,
and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a communist.

Then they came for the socialists,
and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a socialist.

Then they came for the trade unionists,
and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a trade unionist.

Then they came for the Jews,
and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a Jew.

Then they came for the Catholics,
and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a Catholic.

Then they came for me,
and there was no one left to speak for me.
