Horrible about Reese (we can only hope his career as a football player isn't over). And I think most on here knew that Gresch could be the "next big thing" for the Griz. But you have to look in the way "long run" to see a silver lining. IMO Reese was just coming into his own, both as a passer and a leader. Brady G had a big arm, but only in that big season-opening upset of NDSU did I feel he had that special leadership quality that could lift a team to another level. I got hints of that from Reese ... and now we may never know. For me, the ideal would have been to have Reese develop, with Gresch as a strong backup and being given good PT.HelenaHandBasket said:I don't want to downplay the Reese injury, but if looking for a silver lining, I think Gresch playing is better in the long run for Griz football.

I'd much rather listen to him than MD...

Shouldn't he have known about The McNeese game falling through?
I get the distinct impression that he loves finding anything to bitch about with respect to the current coaching regime. His schtick has worn thin the last couple of years.
