Round 2: #12 Montana @ #4 Eastern Washington Game Thread

Our defense is giving ewu their toughest test but the other units not showing up yet. special teams and offense need to find themselves during halftime
 
Didn't matter, they score anyway. And it's a typical EWU game, we play fairly well but fuck up enough to be down 10 at halftime.
 
VA is out playing JR so far.
JJ will need to step it up in the 2nd half.
His legacy at UM rides on it.
 
EWU scores, goes up by 10, gets the ball in the second half....doesn't look good with the UM plan...

A big yes, defense will be gassed by mid second half if JJ et all do not find some points and possession time
 
If the D got the least amount of help from the O, this would be a pretty good team. On the numbers, one of the worst defenses (EWU) in the country, and the Griz eke out one FG. :(
 
This is a strange game so far. We will need to stop them on the first drive. That missed PAT may come back to haunt EWU.
 
Griz will rally. This is a great game right now...our d will keep us in it and we know the potential of our offense vs their defense. Griz o will settle in and do just enough in 2nd half.
 
So.

A whopping 91 yards of total offense from the Griz. THIS was not the problem I was anticipating today...

I just wish we didn't have to play from behind all the time
