Barring a major coronary, EverettGriz will finish this post!

Perhaps that is the whole post? It could be a code. Maybe it's a reference to Jean Gee?

I don't know what it meant, but I was offended by it and reported it to the mods. I know about the First Amendment and all that, but I thought that this was taking the First Amendment too far.

Maybe he got nailed by a coconut in all that wind.

I have some sad news to report this evening. Late word has come from Honolulu and our worst fears have been realized. While vacationing in Hawaii, our dear friend, EverettGriz (EG) was indeed struck on the head by a falling coconut due to the the heavy winds that have blanketed the islands with the incoming Hurricane Iselle. The blow to the head was reportedly not a mortal wound. Unfortunately, at the time the coconut struck him, EG and his beautiful wife were visiting the summit of the Kilauea volcano. EG was brought back up from the volcano base due to the heroic action of the park's rangers. His final words were reportedly, "That fucking hurt". He then motioned for his wife to give him his cell phone where in vein he attempted to make his final post on this board, Before he could type it, he succumbed to his injuries.

Funeral arrangements have been made at the Munson Funeral Home in Everett, WA. I will personally meet the grieving widow and the remains at SeaTac Airport on Sunday afternoon. I will also be assisting his widow in grief counseling in weekly sessions at the Red Hook Brewery.

The family has asked that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the CCK Foundation (Coconuts Can Kill Foundation) and to the Kilauea Volcano Safety Program. The family is hopeful that if enough funds are raised they will be able to erect the EverettGriz Memorial Safety fence. This will ensure that future tragedies like this will be avoided. His loving widow joked that this could be the first time he has erected something in the past 12 years. A truly brave woman!

Godspeed Everett!

Our correspondent in the Ukraine, Vladimir Scutin, is now reporting that Ursa Major's story regarding the demise of EG is a "complete and utter fabrication." While I pointed out that complete and utter were really the same thing, Scutin is also reporting that EverettGriz boarded a Malaysian Airlines jet shortly after midnight, bound for Everett International. We will provide updates as they become known.

They believe, and think they can win a national championship, and they don't give a flying f--k if the fans don't think the same.
My post, here, is a bit OT, but your statement is in conflict with those who think the more fans in the stands, the better. I agree with you, and I'll go a step further: EWU & NDSU don't have as many fans at their games as UM does. Yet, look at where they are, today. I think it's the coaches and players, who understand no matter what fans think, or how many are in the stands, the stakes are the same in any one game: each win is a step toward the NC; each loss is a step back. That's what is on the line for them.

In short, it's the honor of the team, as well as the school, for the team to succeed over other teams that has to be in the soul of every coach and player, regardless of what the fans think.

AWF,

Please direct any further inflammatory and/or libelous posts regarding my character directly to my attorney, PR.

Good day, Sir.

The stuff of legend. It'll be interesting to observe over the coming years the number of folks on here that'll claim to have been surfing egriz when EG posted "The Letter."

So can we just use "P" for pussy, and we will all know what it stands for too?
When a regular is missing in action, we can hope he is getting some P. :thumb:
