Do you consider recruiting, player development, and culture part of coaching? So coaching is the entire problem at UM?

I believe there are no remaining starters on defense for Griz. All will graduate and are done and two starters have now hit the portal. I hope the coaches have a contingency plan.Easily the best returning defensive player is gone.
Be careful what you wish for, it could be the Retirement Portal.I believe there are no remaining starters on defense for Griz. All will graduate and are done and two starters have now hit the portal. I hope the coaches have a contingency plan.
That's not accurate.I believe there are no remaining starters on defense for Griz. All will graduate and are done and two starters have now hit the portal. I hope the coaches have a contingency plan.
I also realize there are 100 kids that need to do their part also. You can lead a horse to water but ultimately the horse needs to figure out the drinking part.Do you consider recruiting, player development, and culture part of coaching?
Klucewich started a few games I believe. Loud split reps. Nuce was starting when healthy.I believe there are no remaining starters on defense for Griz. All will graduate and are done and two starters have now hit the portal. I hope the coaches have a contingency plan.
Still graduated or lost 90% of our startersKlucewich started a few games I believe. Loud split reps. Nuce was starting when healthy.
So, FBS coaches just offer full scholarships to transfers who aren't good enough to play for them? Bold strategy, Cotton, let's see how it works out.Not getting to play would be a good indicator that you are not good enough.
Anyone else hear rumblings about Nuce?Klucewich started a few games I believe. Loud split reps. Nuce was starting when healthy.
What have you heard?Anyone else hear rumblings about Nuce?
There was a chance he was going to retire from football. What have you heard?
I’m not sure that’s true. Maybe MSU?Every team has players on their roster that will never see the field.
Alabama and Oregon and MSU all have players on their roster that will never see the field.
It astounds me sometimes how out of touch you are about this.I’m not sure that’s true. Maybe MSU?
I am hoping that he is just F'ing with you now.It astounds me sometimes how out of touch you are about this.
11 guys can be on the field at any time.
Football rosters are 100+ guys every season.
Most teams bring in 15-30 new players every year.
The math doesn't add up for all of those guys to play. I'd say most teams have at least 15-20% of their roster at any time made up of guys that will never play for them. This is completely normal.
I sure hope so, too.I am hoping that he is just F'ing with you now.

On a semi-related note: We've seen a lot of people talking about "development" in the last year or so. Correct me if I'm wrong, but there are roughly three hours per week to "develop" in games during the season. The guys practice pretty much every day during the season. It astounds me sometimes how out of touch you are about this.
