I finally got a chance to listen to Colters podcast and could't agree with him more, well done sir. Colter's reporting on all things Cat/Griz is factual, informative, accurate, and entertaining. Keep up the great reporting Colter.

I wrote this back on page 13: [....For the record, this collective group of griz fans who claim to loathe the Cats & all things Cats are running a thread about said Cats under the premise that drinking and driving is a bad, bad thing - which is absolutely true - but the truth of the matter, as some have actually admitted to, is that you have an unhealthy dose of schadenfreude - and have fallen into the same pit of despair Cat fans suffered through those many, many years ago. You all have collectively become the fan base you so often, to this day, blast & despise! ] Uofmman1122 responded 'This isn't the own you think it is.' It wasn't intended as an own, it was intended as a mirror. Take a good look. Do you like making excuses for losses? Do you like looking for any reason to take down your rival? I have really good friends who are hardcore Griz fans. Good humans who I'd fall on a sword for. This thread is an embarrassment to them, Griz Nation, and not representative of most Griz fans. Stop drinking your own Cool Aid & sober up.

Here's some excerpts from Colter: [ "There's no benefit for Cruzado to say anything until it's handled through the courts....... Which means there's no benefit to ask................. It''s a completely invalid criticism........... Now we're calling some of you guys out. Fairly. It's not a sports story. ... ..that's an outrageous statement....that is coming again from one side ...guys I don't know if you realize how this makes you look, compared to how you used to look as a fan base 15 years ago. Would Griz fans be freaking out if the Griz hadn't got their asses kicked in Bozeman last year? Probably not. They went on to say: [The drinking culture that surrounds college football in Montana .....so many people who say this case isn't being reported on enough or that these people should be burned at the stake - look in the mirror, right? Not about to read 10,000 words from a bub.

My thoughts are that colter (or some other journalist whether actual or just by name) would ask about these coaches just out of sheer curiosity. I mean, msdUi's handling of this entire thing has been so freakin bizarre that you'd just assume someone would want to know why just to satisfy their own curiosity if nothing else.

But, then they’d lose sources! Not sure why a Bubbie felt the need to basically post a transcript of the podcast, but I guess they want to justify MSU’s actions based on Griz fans’ reactions.

Their program is scum. I’ve been saying it for years.

Is that what he posted? I honestly didn't even glance at it. I just scrolled (and scrolled, and scrolled, and scrolled, and scrolled, and scrol....) right on by it.

Yep. Yes it is. Now it's officially a WAAC Scum program.

I just want to say thank you. THANK YOU for the entertainment! The biggest irony in all this is in fact this thread itself! If the dui thing happened fifteen years ago, this thread wouldn’t have been created. Or, all it would be is a bunch of jokes and meme’s about it….. with you all laughing and talking about how the Cats are all just a bunch of clowns. Lol. But because it’s the new reality and you’re getting dominated by the Cats….. You guys are MAD! It’s hilarious.

What do yau think the Cats are "dominating"? 1-1 in last 2 seasons in football. No national championships for Cats since 1984. Cat men's basketball team is something like 4-17. The Cat hoops teams lost its coach and most of its good players. Griz attendance, season tickets and ticket revenue were way above Cat's. No Griz coaches with DUI charges in recent history, compared to both coordinators for the Cats in last less than a year.

Trust me, the pleasure is all on this side of the table. Imagine if your rival had two coordinators arrested for drunk driving and within months of one another, gave zero consequences to either, but instead gave them new contracts with one raise, and refuse to answer any questions about it! That’s fucking fantastic! The 15 years ago stuff is actually hilarious because if it was 15 years ago, MSU would’ve already canned both of those clowns. But, now they’re winning games.

Absolute scum.

I don’t think you should be thanking anyone. Now is a time for reflection about a very serious issue. Damn lucky that coach didn’t hit and kill someone. Would you be on another BSC fan board spouting gibberish if an innocent person would have been killed by an MSU employee in a state owned vehicle? Seriously, think about what you just posted. You are minimizing the severity of the offense. He is still employed. At least one other Bobcat coach with a DUI is still employed. (I think it is actually his third). Raises and contract extensions? I don’t care what program it is or how successful they are - it is unbelievably irresponsible to keep them employed. Do as I say guys. Not as I do. What a great mentor and coach for young men. You should slink away and not post one more thing about this issue. If it were a Griz coach I would be all over Haslam. (I don’t think I would have to. Bodner would have acted quickly and Haslam would have done his job. Tax payers deserve more responsible representatives of the state and their institutions. This situation doesn’t just look bad - it is terrible. Yep, I am angry about it. Mothers against drunk drivers should be furious. Anyone who lost a loved one or a child to a drunk driver should be calling for the President, AD and head coach to be fired. You as a fan have demonstrated your ignorance and disregard for a huge problem in Montana. Shame shame.

They have not been convicted of any crime yet. At this point they are innocent.

And that’s just the thing. By taking that stance (as opposed to that taken by TCU and Wyoming), MSU was able to get the local yokels to push any criminal trials until after the season, and get the fan base to buy it. You have a county court in the middle of BFE that can’t get a trial date or a plea within a year of a repeat offender’s last offense? No chance in real life. This way, MSU can get another season out of these guys to try to make a push in the playoffs. As hush-hush as everything has been, it’s actually pretty transparent.

At this point, they have been charged with DUI's and various other offenses.

And then got new contracts and one raise before continuing all criminal hearings indefinitely(?). I wonder how much the DC took TCU and Wyoming for when they shit-canned his drunk ass before the trial dates. Must be millions if MSU is so worried.

Fact: MSU will play a season with both coordinators out on bail for criminal arrests/charges.

Their attorney's do not control the Court. The Court could have said no to any request for a delay. I have heard the Courts are inundated. Maybe, that is why they accepted the delay.

These two journalists want to cry “it’s not our job to ask and Griz fans are just jealous”. Not the smartest move to piss off 1 out of every 2 Montanans.

@Colter, show me or find me another coach in the US or anywhere else who received a contract extension and pay raise….while in the middle of a criminal investigation…..quite probably for their third DUI. This fact alone warrants questions and answers to and from MSU and its leadership. Yet you pussies won’t ask and want to deflect. GTFOOH with that nonsense.

If they were even 1/10 of a man, they would have admitted their terrible judgment, pled guilty and resigned (or at least understood when they got shitcannned). But they're clearly and obviously anything BUT men.

I am stunned any bub fan would want them associated with their program and university at all.

Yes, charges are pending. They did not agree with the charges and pleaded not guilty. Like I said, at this time they are innocent. The Court did not reject the delay so the trial has been put off. That is the Court's decision. A far as Garza's previous, I only know what I have read in the newspaper which was hardly anything.

I would think that on every television and radio broadcast of the bub games this season it will be mentioned that the bubs have 3 coaches facing pending criminal charges.

Great publicity.
