from what I have heard, bienemann should be considered an outstanding leader as a senior..he has elevated his play on the field for sure, but his ability to relate and converse with his teammates has been something the coaches have appreciated as well...he is pretty versatile too...I noticed in the power set, one option to jj is bienemann in the flat coming out of the backfield...now that would be a neat story to complete a t.d. pass to him in the cat game...anyway, I tip my hat to all the seniors and their hard work...go griz !

The university needs to make the student section a priority for advertising and getting them in. I know they haven't had to do it in years. But now they do. Last year really hurt the griz student section. They really have not been playing up the games, letting ppl know how good this team is. They need to get on this when the playoffs cone around

Thanks for the write up Brint. I actually missed my first home game in years with a bad flu. It was a bummer not to be there for the seniors but hopefully there will be some home playoff action soon! Sad to hear about the student section. The ones that left must be there more for socializing or aren't big football fans or both. Student tickets went fast and the section always seemed packed the years I sat there, 1996 - 2000.

A lot of fans, including over at BN, seem to think a Griz win is a lock. Not so fast...it is a rivalry game so we can throw everything out the window. That said, Griz will win.

Really enjoyed this group of seniors! Also, a couple of these guys had 3 D coordinators and 3 OCs.

Nice analysis but seriously the whining about the student section? If I had a nickel for every game I went to in the student section bumping with people and standing behind people in the second half while half the other fans are out tailgating...


Seriously... Don't complain about the student section because it's a trend that everyone follows following halftime... And yes that includes the o so heralded nez.
