Ya, but I'm not the one that made those comparisons... I was just echoing what analysts and coaches have said. We'll know a lot more in 3 or 4 weeks.
Ok, so you’ll gladly take the credit if he turns out to be good, but if not, you were just regurgitating hearsay. Got it. And that makes perfect sense; par for the course.
I still don’t know what the hell we “heard from you first.”

What you heard from me first is that Casey Bauman is going to surprise people and put up some pretty good passing numbers this year. I've already bet some dumbass griz fans that our passing numbers will be significantly better than what we've seen from the Bobcats the past three years. Easy money.

No - I'm not saying he's the next Flacco or Osweiler but he has great potential. Cannon.

Any numbers? Or, just soft qualifiers?

Oh man, tough to say as we all know Choate's DNA is to run the football. Total WAG I'll say more TDs than INTs  (Sadly I don't think that was the case last year,) :o Maybe 25-30 TDs to less than 10 INTs, avg over 200 yards pg, 60-65% completion rate..... but probably most importantly I'll predict his game management will be solid, tough to quantify other than with 8 or 9 wins regular season.

OK, but you referenced numbers, so here it is:

1. More TDs than INTs (Starter last year was 3:7)
2. 25-30 TDs and fewer than 10 INTs (See above)
3. Over 200 passing ypg (Looks like last year was sub 150)
4. 60-65% completion % (55% last year)

Now, you are talking only of Bauman. Let's see if he can hit the numbers.

Again, google is your friend. Based on the numbers you just gave, you’re putting CB as one of the top 3-4 QBs in the league. Only 3 QBs last season averaged 200 passing yards or more per game (Maier, Gueller, Sneed), only 2 had over 25 TD passes (Maier and Gueller), and only 4 had over a 60% completion rate (Maier, Sneed, Barriere, Constantine).

I can guaranfuckingtee CB doesn’t hit these numbers. You only hurt your credibility (not that you have any) here when you say shit this dumb.

Again, even though I posted it in another thread:

Did you know the cats have had ZERO QBs that fit those standards since 2000 (and probably ever)?

Well I did tell you it was a wild ass guess, but my main point, and the only thing I put $$ on is that we'd have better QB play than what we've had. We'll see what happens. Now excuse me, I have some googling to do

How do you propose to quantify this “Better QB play than we’ve had” bet? Is it +450 for “generally better” but +250 for “I think it seemed a bit better” and -250 on “I don’t think it was that much better, do you?”

If the QB passing is better but the rushing is worse is it a wash? Because that is a virtual lock.
