This...
I'll remind you of this when Andersen is your QB and your team is 0-3 with Lurch under center.

Ok, we'll see what happens. If Choate truly believed Troy Andersen at QB gave MSU the best chance to win games....... he'd be starting at Texas Tech. Troy at QB was a stopgap solution that had to be done last year based on the crazy bad luck at the QB position.
There is no way in hell that would have happened at Missoula. Our new Academic Center, and the rigid condtiions that are put on Student Athletes at UM, would have identified the problem and solved it long before it became an issue.

Laugh all you want asshat. I know a 4.0 GPA Student Athlete football player who was told by the lifting/weight coach that he couldn't lift that particular day until he had logged enough hours at the Academic Center. He had to go report in (they keep track of when the Student Athletes check in and out and track their hours at the facility) and only after he logged his academic hours was he able to continue lifting. And this with a kid who has maintained a 4.0 GPA since the day he stepped on campus. If you fools had that setup you wouldn't be in the situation you are now. And the Academic Center has lifted the GPA for Student Athletes at UM to record highs. Our Academic Center and our Stadium and our Champion's Center absolutely dwarf the facilities in Bozo. That's just another reason you will always be our Lil Bro.

I mean, it really is borderline preposterous that they haven’t had a QB for, what, four years now? At what point does the fan base begin to question why that is? It’s not like Bobcat fans are actually thinking this next kid is going to be the answer, and the staff had to know Murray wasn’t going to make grades. Are any Bobcat fans frustrated with the QB situation? Or, is it still kind of a “beating UM is the only concern” thing?

Do you even lift bro?

They have 2 QB's on the roster who are probably better than Sneed. As PR would say, quit posting nonsense.

My mistake. I forgot about the backup who was going to be the starter last year and all summer, but is now clearly not as good a choice as the battle tested kid. If I know anything, it’s that Choach and staff have a long history of evaluating elite QB talent.

Oh hell we're both wrong, I forgot about TA, that makes 3 better than Sneed.

No wonder our odds are so bad.

You're correct. I guess that's why everyone calls it QBU.

Question? Could this Kid Transfer to another school, play four games and Redshirt, if he has not already burnt the shirt ??

There aren't 2 QB's in the BSC better than Sneed.

This is probably accurate. The only other person in the conversation would be EWU's QB.

Also, who is taking over QB at ISU? That's a pass heavy offense where a QB could put up big yards.

Bauman is going to surprise the hell out of you and remember, you heard it here first.
What did we hear from you first?
poorgriz said:
The comparisons I've heard are names like Joe Flacco and Brock Osweiler.

Oh boy. Never mind

Ya, but I'm not the one that made those comparisons... I was just echoing what analysts and coaches have said. We'll know a lot more in 3 or 4 weeks.

Ok, so you’ll gladly take the credit if he turns out to be good, but if not, you were just regurgitating hearsay. Got it. And that makes perfect sense; par for the course.
I still don’t know what the hell we “heard from you first.”

That might be the biggest backpedal I've ever seen on eGriz...and that's saying a lot.

What you heard from me first is that Casey Bauman is going to surprise people and put up some pretty good passing numbers this year. I've already bet some dumbass griz fans that our passing numbers will be significantly better than what we've seen from the Bobcats the past three years. Easy money.

No - I'm not saying he's the next Flacco or Osweiler but he has great potential. Cannon.

Any numbers? Or, just soft qualifiers?

This analogy is hilarious on multiple levels. It’s a total Bobcat comparison: no actual analysis or critical thinking whatsoever. It’s like, you put no thought into it at all—just picked the tallest pro QBs you could think of. And not even good ones!
So I wonder if Bahmon is more comparable to Flacco/Osweiler or Roper/Rolovich? Seriously. Would love to hear your analysis on that
