Possible UW transfer?

That kid would have a huge impact on the team at MSU. It's going to be funny to watch that train wreck in Bozeman this year. They have high expectations and rightfully so. They are loaded with talent up and down the roster, but their QB situation is really pathetic. It's worse than you even think. That kid will be like lurch under center. They will be forced to move Andersen back to QB.

Keep telling yourself that! Whatever helps you sleep at night. It must suck knowing we've beaten you three years in a row without a quarterback. Bauman is going to surprise the hell out of you and remember, you heard it here first.

I'm a lot more afraid of a Troy Andersen QB'd cats team than I am of a Bauman/Rovig QB'd cats team.

This...
I'll remind you of this when Andersen is your QB and your team is 0-3 with Lurch under center.

Ok, we'll see what happens. If Choate truly believed Troy Andersen at QB gave MSU the best chance to win games....... he'd be starting at Texas Tech. Troy at QB was a stopgap solution that had to be done last year based on the crazy bad luck at the QB position.

Lurch? Don't confuse him with a guy like Brady Goofstafson. Casey has a stronger arm and has wheels. Brady looked like a slow awkward giraffe when he ran....Casey not so much. You'll see. Poorgriz is right on this one.

The comparisons I've heard are names like Joe Flacco and Brock Osweiler. Notice I said I've HEARD those comparisons. Personally I want to wait and see how he looks when the bullets are flying, after two or three games. I'm expecting things to look a little rough against that Red Raider defense, and I know the coaches aren't going to bench him if he looks bad in that first game.

Nah, I'll keep listening to Nuanez and Tootell, and the coaching staff.

As in "wow, this guy is no Joe Flacco." or "Hey this guy is tall like Brock Osweiler."

Interesting. The only thing I heard Nuanez say is Bauman didn't look good when it went live, and that the Bobcats should run a 5 QB system (paraphrasing). Most comparisons I've heard around Bozeman say Bauman is like a taller John Elway with Michael Vick mobility and Tom Brady intangibles. I'm just bummed he ended up at QBU.

Matt Miller made the comparison to Brock Osweiler, but I'm going with lurch from the Addams family.

CRAZY BAD LUCK??? It wasn't crazy bad luck that caused the problems at QB in Bozo, it was your CRAZY STUPID COACH who didn't do even a rudimentary job of overseeing the GPA of your quarterback who couldn't make grades and didn't find out and/or address the problem until July, just a month before Fall Camp began. And this after missing the season prior because of shit grades. There is no way in hell that would have happened at Missoula. Our new Academic Center, and the rigid condtiions that are put on Student Athletes at UM, would have identified the problem and solved it long before it became an issue. Crazy bad luck my ass!
