Portal and Roster Limits

I think it will be positive for UM and FCS. Don't think the 105 roster limit applies to FCS. Not sure where the cut off, if any, is, in FBS. I suppose the effective increase in scholarships from 85 to 105 could counter some of the positive for FCS. Unless there's some loophole for keeping a bunch of walk-ons around, over the 105 limit, then it would seem that walk-ons couldn't/couldn't wait around for a chance in FBS.

Most players in the portal are looking to move up or over for more playing time. Not down. I don't see much effect.
With the 105 limit and no walk-ons, there is only so much room at the FBS level.

It won't matter. UM coaches have proven they are bad at talent judgment.
This is a recruiting coordinator problem. Justin Green is good at coaching running backs and finding talented running backs but, otherwise not so well. Maybe time for a change.

Green is terrific. He doesn’t all the evaluation. The position coaches do much of it.
Can I ask why you keep coming back to eGriz? You don’t like the coaches, the players or the fans. You spend your time here in pointless and endless arguments. What are you getting out of these visits?
He is a cat troll 100%. He and other weird cat trolls pretend to be Griz fans but they always have some blatant tells. I figured his out a long time ago. Go back and read a number of his posts and it’s very obvious.

Respectfully, not only no - hell no. Green is a treasure and the Griz are so very lucky to have him.
He's the recruiting coordinator and the Griz are getting out recruited by MSU, USD, UC Davis, NDSU, SDSU, and a couple others. Griz should be pulling in a lot more talent. Who is to blame? The last time the griz truly had great all around talent was 2011. Something needs to change with the recruiting that much is obvious.
Look, I love Justin Green but, all around recruiting is lacking.
If you truly think that recruiting has been a weak point for us, I think it's perfectly reasonable to direct criticism at the only guy who's been our recruiting coordinator for the last 12 seasons.
