Hauck is wrong and the Kaimin is right.

Get over it.

So shocked you feel this way Alphie... once again, you jump to base your opinion on your jealousy and hatred of Hauck. Sad that your little opinions are so easily driven. I like your style, screw the facts, if it's anti-Bobby, your on board. Pathetic

Yeah the morons on your side dont do the same thing!!!!!!!!!!

Alpha, we all know that if the conversation is anti-Hauck, you will be right in the middle of it, the facts be damned.

The facts are that the Kaimin is right and the only people that think Hauck is right in this situation blindly support him to the death. The same people that support his criminal tendancies and lack of judgement when bringing troubled players here.

You people in the Hauck is never wrong crowd are in the minority and that is fact.

It has nothing to do with hating Hauck its just that hes fu*king WRONG!

Alpha, I am NOT in the Hauck-is-never-wrong crowd. I was not pleased when he was hired and, although my opinion has changed a bit since that time, I still am not a huge supporter of his. However, I do NOT "hate" him, and I do not find it necessary to turn every thread into an anti-Hauck tirade -- and you do!

It's not a matter of the Kaimin being right or wrong. They're just reporting what they believe to be news. And now that the Missoulian has picked up the story, it most certainly is news.

The only way for a public official to behave in this situation is to be open, honest and accountable. Circling the wagons or declaring war on the Kaimin will not work.

True. The Missoulian article turned this into a two-front war and ended any chance of a graceful exit strategy for Hauck. I'm distressed to see he is still not answering the Kaimin's questions. Every time he does that now there will be new "journalism-about-journalism" articles about it in the Kaimin and the Missoulian. And if he does take their questions they will run an article saying he is now taking their questions, and of course, to provide context for the change of course they will with the greatest possible reluctance have to thoroughly review all his previous refusals to answer. His hand isn't as good as he thinks it is, and the the longer this goes on the more humiliating the climb-down will eventually be.

After reviewing many of the posts written on this thread, I believe my gut has actually burst. Apparently the majority of Egrizzers are middle aged adolescents cheering on another middle aged adolescent. I'm sure there will be plenty of high fives on Egriz if Hauck, continuing to battle with pimple faced college journalists, yells out, "I know you are, but what am I?" Seriously, you may waste your days thinking back to the glory days of high school football ( some of you may not want to after paying all that money to the therapist to forget that you were force fed your jock strap by the varsity team) but you are welcome back to grown up land when ever you feel safe enough to attend.

Like ESPN and Sports Illustrated are really news organizations, they have pictures on their websites, that alone makes them uncredible. Yes, I know uncredible is not a word but I used it anyway.

When will these guys realize that if your talking down about Big Game Bob your wrong and only doing it because you want to sell more magazines?

Agreeing with the Kaimin only validates the Kaimin and makes the Kaimin look right in the eyes of the National media.......................wait that blows up in your faces.

OUCH!

wouldn't you think that being a leader and role model of the community bobby would take the high road? instead he's showing that being a stubborn idiot in a confrontation is the proper way to handle the aforementioned confrontation.
interesting that multiple players have really mishandled disagreements around town in the last couple years...hmmm
grow up bobby... and to all of you in griz nation, take the blinders off every once in a while...

when a griz sh*ts in the woods it's still sh*t!!!
;)

As my, buddy says about Hauck, and he has known him since Bobby was about 10 years old, "Bobby does not care what anyone thinks about him. He marches to his own drummer. He will never change".

So, I guess being a dyk to the media ios part of the package with Hauck. It is just embarrassing to me as a Griz fan.

Your buddy is pretty much on...Some apparently have trouble with it and some don't...I sit in the camp that has no problem with Bobby

Wait I do have an issue with Bobby -- because he used to take Alpha's lunch money, we have to put up with Alpha trying to get even through the use of a keyboard... Damn you Bobby!

the people that post on this site is very much in the know, I mean everyone on here is or used to be friends with bobby hauck, john elway, denny washington and the list goes on and on. it's pretty incredible.
I wish I could name drop like some people on here.

I think the whole episode is pretty simple.. The kaimin is a newspaper that reports what it feels is newsworthy...Bobby Hauck is a coach who has no obligation to read their paper or even acknowledge they exist... The kiamin wrote a story that Bobby didn't like, and they now think he owes them something?? This is a wakeup call to the "student reporters etc", because real life is this way. Speak your mind, but don't expect favors from those who disagree...Wipe the tears and accept life.....
