If you want a nice treat on the night before the game, I would stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Corvallis. SInce it is a night game, I might recommend staying two nights. . .the night of the game too..I'm sending out the Griz Paw for help. I'm traveling over to go to the game against Oregon State and I'm looking to book hotel reservations. I'm planning to arrive Friday and leave Sunday and would like to catch a competitive high school football game on Friday and see a little or Oregon either Saturday before the game or Sunday. Which towns between Portland and Corvallis are the best for a 2 night stay?
Your help is appreciated.
I checked the place above and there's no room at the Inn. With a 8pm local start time it looks like I will be staying in a manger. If you want a nice treat on the night before the game, I would stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Corvallis. Hilton Garden Inn Corvallis - Steps from Reser Stadium - Free Parking. Note: The Beavers do a great with their tailgating and are very friendly. It will be a blast. I mean, you literally walk across the street and you are in the stadium. If you are able to do, I would for sure. Corvallis is, actually, a pretty cool and fun town to hang out, and there are some great places to mingle with the college kids in walking distance. Just a thought.
exactly! that's why i gather a bunch of old copies of the local paper for my blanket, find a nice bridge by a river, and set up camp there.I always base where I’m staying on where other posters on here aren’t staying.
Okay, not really. All hotels are gross.
