We in the NEZ will treat him just like we treat Sauers and Glenn when they come to WaGriz now.
There was an earlier thread on this topic and this is precisely what I said and what I'm going to do! :thumb:Buttegrizzle said:We in the NEZ will treat him just like we treat Sauers and Glenn when they come to WaGriz now.![]()

I would clap for him but I would assume he will be up in the booth.

Not sure what you mean by "did a lot wrong", it appears that you and Engstom are the only two that know what he did wrong, and till now, Engstom has not enlighten anyone for the reasoning of letting go O'Day and Phlu,..
Yep, still waiting for the answer on this.PlayerRep said:Catsrback76 said:PlayerRep said:EverettGriz said:Polite applause. Did a lot good. Did a lot wrong.
What did he do wrong?
Maybe it was not paying attention and running the car into the ditch?
Taking the team to the national semifinals and publicity supporting his qb against a bogus allegation aren't running the car into the ditch.
Says the guy whose coach rolls around the same corner and right into the ditch, every year, right around this time? :msugrad:Catsrback76 said:PlayerRep said:EverettGriz said:Polite applause. Did a lot good. Did a lot wrong.

When all of this "scandal" was over (when the Feds left town) there was very little press that could undo the relentless attacks that had went on in the local media for the past two years and many people still think the horror stories they read about and all of the allegations (Missoulian) were true. Even though the NCAA/DOJ found pretty much nothing.
I mention this as I have noticed over the last several months when I have a discussion with someone about the University and the athletic program most still seem to think this really was "rape nation" and the University and Football team "got in all that trouble" My own mother even mentioned this tonight and when I explained to her what was revealed at the conclusions of the investigations she was very surprised and said she never heard anything about that.
Ughhhhhh, there I go. I shouldn't have got started, trying to leave it all behind and think about a Griz win this weekend, and then against The Cats and then against whoever we get to beat in the first round.
I guess what I am saying is there are still a lot of people out there, even locally that have no idea what the Feds found, and what was reported (in the media) to be happening here are two totally different things.
