Now do and compare Cats v SDSU, a 2-conf loss NV team, and UM v UND, a no conf loss MV team. I will start.

Cats lose to SDSU.

The QB was not a point of emphasis in this game for the Griz defense. Weber wasn't going to win the game throwing the ball, the key was to stop the run even with their injuries.

Really. If the offense just keeps scoring as much as possible we will win it all? What a hot take.

Also we are still without our best player on defense. He makes a big difference.

Loud is a good corner but not our best defender.

Instead I’d vote for Wing who is the Energizer Bunny wreaking havoc on opposing QB’s timing and mental health. Or, equally good is Tolbert who is our leading tackler virtually every game.

We have other contenders but those two have been indispensable.

I get it. You disagree. That’s fine. I don’t think we’ve got a very good defense. Also fine. No need to get upset about it

* check the defensive stats and then let talk. Statistically we have one of the worst defenses in the big sky, and one of the worst pass defenses in the FCS. Montana is 100/126 in passing yards allowed in the entire FCS. We’re not particularly good at stopping the run either. We’re 52/126. In total defense Montana is 80/126. It’s not a “hot take”, our defense just isn’t that good. Our offense on the other hand is incredible. We have a great offense that masks the defensive deficiencies we’ve got and that’s why we’re undefeated, period.

Our D gave up 24 points today--their's gave up 28 + a controversial holding call pulled back a TD from us.

And their star WR Taco Dowler wasn't a very big factor today.

Last week, you were bitching and moaning early on against Portland State but then jumped on the bandwagon when we started pounding the hapless Vikings. !!!

Today you're back to bitching and moaning about our D, totally ignoring that we gave up fewer points--that's a category called " points allowed" --than the vaunted MSU defense and we had four sacks to their two.

Our D didn't lose the game today, but you're such a two-faced, bandwagon GRIZ " fan ", period. !!!
 
Fuck this moral victory shit. The one god damn thing I ask of the Griz every year they haven’t done with any regularity since I was 6. Stop being arrogant pricks about this game. Don’t you dare say until we win 3 in a row that this Game can be even considered as a win. This game is a loss until the coaching staff proves otherwise.

I hadn’t said a word about the team today. I thought they played well today on offense and defense. This is the FIRST time I’ve even been on this site today 🙄
