The RB has to have somewhere to run. Hard to do when the OL isn't making the holes

Does seem strange.

I can think of one reason (excuse): Missouri Valley teams like UNI live and die on defense by schemes to stop the run (which they have done tonight). That includes running quarterbacks. Therefore, do not try to power run against them (?). That's all I can think of.

Edit: And you guy are perhaps forgetting a (pretty successful) "feature" of Hauck football ... which has apparently not changed, despite his experience elsewhere. Meaning: Get a lead and sit on it ... if you trust your defense.
 
Score, time remaining? My ability to watch/listen went down the tubes for some reason. I am not in the US, so that may explain it.
 
Yeah 3rd down conversion!! Running the clock but looks like Bobby realizes the running game ain't working this half--gutsy passing.
