Seems like he just cashing checks. I've seen former players post:
1. They don't have the overall talent
or
2. They aren't being 'coached' up

Regardless if 1 or 2, the driving factor is the coaching staff.

It very much seems like this coaching staff greatly benefitted by having a roster with a shit load of Covid year 5-6th year seniors.

But after they left this roster is absolutely fucked because of a couple of things. Coaching arrogance is one. Bobby’s open hatred for the transfer portal and what college football has become. And lastly the AD not realizing that with all of the benefits this university and city has to offer….we need a coach that is going to sell those attributes.

Long way to go starting tomorrow.
