Does this game really surprise people based on how the season went? What about the OL play and defense would have made anyone think this game would be competitive?

Surprised at the loss? No. I thought losing by 14-17 would have been likely.

We are going to lose Fife, probably Huot. I just hope that we can keep Ah Yat healthy long enough for him to "develop" as everyone is planning on him doing.

Seems like he just cashing checks. I've seen former players post:
1. They don't have the overall talent
or
2. They aren't being 'coached' up

Regardless if 1 or 2, the driving factor is the coaching staff.

Really no way to put lipstick on the pig. Two things really stand out to me. Offensive line is terrible. Not sure how that happens at this point in his tenure. They are just bad. The other is the crap 3-3-5 and how bad the defense struggled this year. Crazy for a coach with the level of experience this staff has.
