Glenlivet is blended, I believe. Still pretty good, although I prefer Glenfiddich in the same price range.

CDAGRIZ said:I'm almost certain Glenlivet is a single malt Speyside. I'm not a huge fan of Speysides in general, but some are good. I really like Oban 14 (haven't had any older Oban, but I'm sure I'd like it). I guess Oban is a highland, but I'm not too sure.

This is way beyond my PBR and Jack Daniels or Jim Beam drinking habits, LOL!

Thanks for correcting me. I was probably thinking about Chivas or maybe it's tonight's Laphroaig talking.

Dude, I wasn't trying to correct you; I know next to nothing about scotch. Sorry if I came off as a dick. Laphroiag is some rough stuff from what I remember. Do you have the 10 in the green bottle? I don't mean "rough stuff" in a bad way . . .

No problem. I just thought for a moment that we had been married or that you were a friend of my current wife. Remember, one man's "rough" is another's "unique character". You didn't come off as a dick. I have an entire family waiting to point out my mistakes. Happy Holidays!
