There was quite a few opportunities lost, yes. But with what they have done against CP last weekend and EWU this weekend it is all fixable. That's not the word I'm looking for but if you wanna give on this team, go right ahead. It don't make a shit to me. The Griz coulda put the #3 team in the nation away and were down, what, 42-17 at one point. They adjusted but were about 20 seconds shy of a win even with a TD called back. There is no way in hell that I'm on the "Get rid of Delaney" wagon. No way. The calling needs to be mixed up more but maybe thats the scheme of the season. Idk. If there is limited film on what they do when they have to start putting points up (I'd rather see a blow out every week) how is anyone one gonna stop them?

That's the problem. I thought at the start of the year that this team has enough talent to play deep into the playoffs, but the coaching will not let them make a deep run. The sheeple will see the playoffs again and assume the mickster has it turned around. Gotta root for the team to do well for the players and their families who sent them here...but it means that this program will lose more ground.

I may be out of the loop, but where is this "Engstrom is plotting to dismantle the football program" talk coming from?

Engstrom is one of the arrogant academic nerds that resent the attention and money that football brings to the University. He wants to knock football down a few notches so it is just another program at the U.

His firing of Pflugrad and O’Day and subsequent hiring of nice old grandpa Delaney to coach the Griz are achieving his objective.

You're full of it, be glad Mick was around to keep things together during that crap storm.

Hey genius, Engstrom created the crap storm by firing our competent head coach (Pflugrad) and athletic director (O'Day), and then hired grandpa Delaney to manage the sh*t storm he caused, thus, bringing the football program down a few notches.

Griz would now be undefeated if Pflugrad and O'Day had been allowed to remain, and Griz would not have suffered through their worst season in decades last year.

Its all water under the bridge now, but place the blame in the right place.

Right now your only weaknesses are the defensive back end and an under performing OL. The former was expected, the latter is a surprise. Coach Delaney is a class act. It's the staff as a whole I question. You have a lot of super talent on your team. EWU is a complete, well coached team. They outplayed you guys today. They were the better team. However, if you guys played the game like you did in the 4th qtr you would have won. Your team did not give up. I give them kudos for that!

But honestly, bitching about a 6-2 season? The 2011 team was in the same situation. Yeah yeah a loss to an SEC team is bigger than what's going on right now. Maybe you guys are right. But I think Mick recruits well, and I'm pretty damn sure he knows what he's doing. Play calling is vet "vanilla" but I think its part of his scheme. Just curious what coach recruits the kickers...wonder what their FG and xtra point percentages were. Not talking crap about the kickers just want to know if they did well in high school or struggled.

6-2 season, but we have only played two good teams all year. Lost to them both. He is clueless. But please, be sure to kick off to me both halves and run essentially the same play 3 times every series. We have to be the easiest team to gameplan for in the BSC.

You only like him beachside he gives your team the best chance to win. The only guy you want us to hire instead of him is hysell ( however you spell it)
