I have heard that Ferriter will not be retained and that most likely Selle will also not be back. As noted by others, Bobby would like his OC to also be the QB coach.

Hate to see guys let go, but having TR fill both positions helps stretch the payroll for the guys remaining.

I doubt Rosie is going to be the OC, QB coach AND wide Receiver coach.

Why would you bring on almost all the assistants and not have named a coordinator?

Uh...what?

Well hopefully they make an announcement today.

Uh...what?

Uh... QB & WR coach? Based on what, budgetary concerns? Combination makes no sense, unless he comes with a clone.

Assuming it is Rosenbach. I think one thing that may help Ferriter or Selle is that Josh Blankenship is being named the head coach at Adams State. He was one I thought Rosenbach would bring with him.

Exactly. Anyone thinking we were going to “save money” and have Rosie do all three jobs is delusional. This isn’t freshman high school football

Timm is for sure coming back as the OC. Selle will not be on the staff, still a chance Ferriter (sp) could stay on but not decided yet.

Wait a minute, does that mean you know who it's gonna be, or that you only know who it isn't gonna be?

It is Rosenbach. Bank it.

It appears that Rosenbach has left Adams State as HC, which probably means he is headed to Missoula.

I heard he is riding with Kessman?

Talked to Kessman, reality TV thing didn't work out, has a year of eligibility left...exciting times!

Ferriter would be a good one to keep on because he could help with translation to the players of the new offense, it’s helpful. “This is like that play we had last year..etc.”

Bobby will offer it to Timm first. I hope he says no and we get Pease in here with Selle as an assistant OC.

Looks like this guy knew for sure who was getting the first offer at OC

If you need a reminder of what a Rosey coaches offense can look like, I’d suggest watching the 2012 App State game. Yeah we lose, but it shows a few things.

1) his offense can be reasonably executed by a Frontier caliber QB. Trent McKinney was a decent runner but had issues passing. Gresch is a decent runner and a great passer. That makes this offense open up more. The need for a dual threat QB is real. I think with Jensen’s vision and smarts he can master this offense fairly easily.

2) You can run the spread with double tight ends.

3) A big, physical back can wreck defenses with this system.

3b) Dan Moore is a beast.

I find it a little surprising on Ferriter. He is a good recruiter, coach, and has a coaching and playing connection with Bobby. I would have to think if it is someone like Rosenbach he might want some of his guys that know his offense would be my guess. I would have kept Ferriter but I'll trust Bobby on this. I have to think Phen hires him at ISU.
I asked about Ferriter in the announcement that Hauck had retained 4 of Stitt's coaches. I was surprised he was part of that list and hope he does end up being kept.
