Brent has absolute brilliant football mind. He was thought of very highly by Petersen at Boise State. After his stint at Florida he was hired back at Washington. He has worked at Baylor as well. When Don Read took over our program he moved Brent (to quarter back his senior year. He went on to be drafted by the Vikings. He is areally great guy but like a lot of people his immaturity has held him back in the past. But I believe just like Bobby he has matured a lot. Let’s give him the Benifit of the doubt. He would be better than Rosie and I have no axe to grind there. Go Griz
This is the truth. His latest gig was the head coach's fault. Insist on running when you don't have a good line or a good back and you lose.
I always thought it was strange that Peterson brought Pease back to coach receivers at UW and then let him go in early December before their bowl game two years ago. The comments in this article are fairly generic, but at least it gives some reason. Generally speaking, it is strange to fire a receivers coach with only a bowl game remaining.

Chris Petersen described his decision to fire his longtime assistant Brent Pease as difficult but necessary.
In a news release Friday, Petersen announced Pease’s dismissal as the Huskies’ receivers coach. On Sunday, Petersen addressed the decision for the first time.
“(It was) hard,” Petersen said. “I think you guys know, I go way back with him, and he is a really good person, and he’s a good football coach. But just without getting into too much detail, just kind of a new vision for what I think it should look like out there, and a new energy. I think that would help us. And it really kind of came down to that.”
For the second year in a row, the Huskies’ offense ranks 10th in the Pac-12. UW’s receivers were largely inconsistent for much of the season while the Huskies broke in a new starting quarterback for the second straight year.
Petersen was asked if the performance of the receiving corps was a primary factor in Pease’s dismissal.
“Absolutely,” Petersen said. “At the end of the day, every coach, including myself, is evaluated on the performance of the guys on the field. That’s not the only thing, but do we think we can take a step there? And is the performance what it needs to be? That’s no different for me and we think we all have more to us on this deal, and we think we’re heading in the right direction, but we’ve got to get to the right destination — not just head in that direction.”
