I would be pretty suprised if none left. I would be pretty suprised if a fair amount dont leave.
I would think word would of got out by now if any of the players have left. Think how fast news of the fire job got out this morning.
There is a whole spring and summer before fall camp. I would think that Pflu told his players today not to make emotional decisions now, so I wouldn't expect a whole lot right away. But after some thought I think we'll see quite a few leave voluntarily, and have a pretty different looking team in the fall. Should have done this months ago.

I've known Jim O'Day since I was a little kid. He's a great guy and a very caring person. Pflugrad also seemed to be a guy who really cared about his players.

He's a guy who has presided over one of the most out of control football programs in the country. He had plenty of opportunity to amend many of these issues and chose not to. This is not would I would consider a "great guy".

I guess you don't know him then. He is a great guy and a great family man who cared a ton about the University and the athletes that have played here. It's part of the reason he shouldn't be AD anymore. He always saw the good in people. It's a good quality that made him fall short in running a diciplined ship at UM. It was the right move to fire him, but to say he isn't a good person shows that you have no clue about the guy. Jim was one of the great fundraisers in the history of our University's athletic department and has played a large role in the gameday environment we have today. Many of things that you enjoy on gameday are because of Jim. Hopefully he will find a job somewhere where those talents can be put to use. He didn't have the ability to be an effective diciplinarian, which warranted his firing.

That's exactly how I see it as well.

By extension, every professor or advisor on campus who had any of the players in question in their classes should also be fired. Why just a coach? After all, the players are students first and foremost, right?

Sure. And by extension we should just shut down the university, right?
