NY Times reporting J.D. Quinn to Montana

havegrizfan, don't feed the animals. These two have obvious psychosis which need professional attention. If GB feels the need to spend hours each day obsessing over some poster, and accusing me of being that poster, I say go for it. Just for fun, I researched how many hours this guy has spent in the month of August on this board. He has averaged over 10 hours per day on here.

Does that give you a clue to his pathetic existance? I'll bet he hasn't kissed a woman in years. But, we all know how good he is at kissing *sses. Just ask BH.

To answer your post, havegrizfan, please show me where I called this Quinn kid a thug. This should be interesting. Also, your insinuation of the race card is so far fetched that you should be embarrassed even posting it. Two of the players in question are white, out of four. Please tell me how that relates to racism. You really need to get out of Harve more often.

I said that all of these players had character issues, and I stand behind that. Coleman even was quoted in the newspaper as saying that he had screwed up more than once, and needed to leave the state of Iowa to get a fresh start. I hope all of these kids learned their lesson, and will be great Griz players. But, that does NOT excuse them for the things they have already done. And, it does nothing to dispute my allegations that Hauck is recruiting more and more players with previous character issues, which was not done during the tenures of the previous 3 head coaches.

Please do not insult Don Read by suggesting that Joe Douglas was a comparable example to these kids as a IA drop down. Joe left Oregon State because he wanted to start, NOT because of character issues. Same with Ochs and Miller. Do not insult our intelligence.

It is interesting that a couple of the more respected posters on this board found absolutely no fault in my post, and even stated that I made some valid points. Then, the legionaires had to spew their predictable venom, led by their hero GB1, who couldn't find his *ss if he had a cervical inversion. How could ANYONE take a guy seriously who spends 10+ hours a day on this thing? Psychotic is much too kind a word for this "gentleman", and I use that term loosely.

SGF you claim you never insulted these players, essentially but looking at what you said in this thread alone;

It is predictable that many of you are salivating at getting yet another IA misfit who could not play by the rules in his current situation, and was forced to move down to a IAA team in order to continue his college career.

Some of the same posters who openly chided Kramer for taking troubled kids like Joey Thomas, and Junior Adams, are now smuggly savoring the the great "gets" by coach Hauck in securing all of these talented, yet troubled players.

Yet we eagerly take him in. Are the Griz faithful conveniently turning their heads to these transgressions for the sake of winning?

I do not expect to read a single post in the future about ISU being a "thug school", or, about Kramer recruiting thugs.

It is one thing when a IA players moves down to IAA to get playing time. It is another when he moves down to run from the problems he created at the IA level. Has Bobby's program evolved into one which actively seeks IA malcontents, just as long as they are good?

I just see a trend in Bobby's recruiting which I find unsettling. I do not want Montana to be known as a "thug school".

It is hypocricy in thinking that it is cool when Bobby recruits a kid of questioneable character while accusing other schools of being thugs. I am amused by the "kids will be kids, give them another chance" position

A google search on Coleman, will quickly prove that I am not "making up stuff". His problems with the law started in high school, causing many IA teams to back off him, including Michigan and Iowa, who were recruiting him hard. He then had three more incidents at Iowa State. Give him a second chance? O.K., just tell me how many chances we should give him......he's on #5 currently.

OK SGF, some are calling you out, some are just calling you names, but I want your honest response to this, in your latest post, you say that you dare one of the other posters to find where you've called any guy a thug. Well you didn't, but if you look through these posts you're basically implying that we're becoming a school of thugs and you're pointing at a few guys right now and citing their past problems and saying that we shouldn't call other schools "thug" schools anymore. You're throwing guys under the bus and then in your last post you say you really wish them well.

Please show me where in these previous posts you wished these guys well, instead you used their past to assault Bobby. I'm sorry but your backstepping in that last post is obvious. Please prove me wrong, I never read a post you've put up wishing our transfers well until your last one.

STOP PLEASE, :beer2: !!!!!!!!
At 1st I found the banter back and forth amusing, but it is out of control now. Please, you 2 agree to disagree and respect one another still. This is getting ridiculous and personal. Most of us here have nothing against either of you. Myself, I respect both you and your opinions. This is worse than the political ads we see everywhere every election year. Please stop this nonsense. :beer2: we appreciate both your efforts and opinions, alright already. No wonder why Griz tailgates rock and there are so many drunks. Threads like this drive us to drink b4 game day, :thumb: Can we all get along in Griz Nation? Now onto something all of griz nation is in agreement, GO GRIZ!

I agree mtgrizrule, this is ridiculous. I stand behind my post. egriz (the board monitor) asked me to provide backup for my points. I believe that I did that very clearly in my initial posts. Yet, I still am slandered and misquoted by Griz fans who read the words, but can not resist embellishing what they say.

This will be my last post on this topic. But, I firmly stand behind the points I made in my initial post, and believe that I supported those points by comparing current recruiting policy to previous coaches. I guess I need to start a new thread "recruiting policy for dummies". :thumb:

Hey Pickle Boy,

Grizzle said to give you his best, as does Alpha, he can't wait to see you in Iowa, like the PM you just sent me with another one of your lame threats. Your big research, you have no clue. Why don't you gell everyone how you got UGMB shut down? Why don't you tell everyone who you threatened who called you on it, and how you went running. You fool know one. You aren't smart enough to know what an IP is, but guess what Shorty, they know exactly where you post from. So you keep telling the newbies who you aren't. The rest of us who have been around the block, and many of them posted today about you, know better. Ca't wait for you to try and carry out your tough talk in Iowa, which one of you is going? Would that be Az, Wolf, Roaring, Spokane Griz, Seattle Griz, the list goes on and on. Pickle Boy, just go crawl back under your rock, a place you are very familiar with.

I doubt you did any research Stevie Pickel, you can't count to ten. As for my time, retirement entitels me to spend my time as I please. So keep running your mouth while you can, each post makes it clearer to everyone that pickle boy is back. now where are you today Pickle? the Library? you are such a loser. :loser:

Please remax do not encourage this any further. It has already gotten to personal. I am sure you are tired of it too.

I was just trying to calmly and honeslty point out the fault in his last post, his statements were obviously conflicting.

You flat out canned him. It was a knock out. No Más. You caught him back peddling so hard he might be in Mexico right now.

Seattle,
Though you never used the word thug, there are some definite insinuations in your comments. Your earlier posts seemed to group all of the I-A transfers together, which is totally insane.

Every player had different reasons for wanting to leave their program — playing time being the usual reason.

Remember, recruiting is imperfect. Some kids who've made mistakes in the past, get in the right setting and become model student athletes, while others who have never been in trouble a day in their life find it in college. There's a risk in every kid you take, whether he is from HAVRE, Helena, Baker, Seattle or L.A.

It's foolish to think otherwise.

I respect Coleman for seeing that he needed to change his life and setting, and more importantly admitting it. If he screws up again, show him the door. But what if he doesn't. He is now a productive player for UM and perfect example that -- given the right setting and right surroundings, a person can change for the better.

As for J.D. Quinn, the kid made a mistake. I would think after being publicly humiliated and kicked off a national championship contending team, he'll probably think twice about what he does in the future.

Is taking JD a win at any cost move? Possibly. But you seem to be the type of poster that would want heads to roll if the Griz weren't winning, no matter who steps on the field.

I think perhaps a little patience should be in order before castigating Hauck and his decision to give a second chances to some players.

Playin' the victim card again, are we?

A couple of things. Taking extra money for your job is not a huge character issue if you ask me. Sure it was wrong, but no reason not to give the kid another chance, or another chance at UM.

Coleman was convicted of only one offence, and that was back in H.S. Bobby is supposedly good friend with a guy at ISU, and I'm sure without hearing the right things from that guy Coleman wouldn't have been accepted.

Russums ASU thing doesn't sound like squat either. Sounds like college hijinx to me. Nothing came of it either.

So, we have a kid who broke NCAA rules, and another kid convicted of one thing. Wow, isn't that just terrible. I bet the Griz are the only team with guys like this. Bobby Hauck may not be perfect, but he certainly doesn't seem to be going out of his way to get kids with poor character.
What about all this kid with unquestionable character that he has recruited. What about the GPA of these kids...hasn't it gone up as a team since Bobby has been here? But we can't mention those things can we AZ, only the bad.

Once again I say, why not post some good with all the bad, you will sound much more credible.

If he ever had credibility, it wouldn't be Az/Pickle. For those that don't know Az. I found a picture of him during my 10 hours he refers to
