Next Up at #2 Kansas 12/19

Griz were only down 7-9 but Kansas is on a 5-0 run now, so down 7-14. Need Gfeller's shot to start falling. Had a wide open 3 but missed badly. Was hoping him hitting some against Great Falls would break him out of his slump.
 
11:53 to go in the half. Griz down 23-10. Had a couple turnovers, issues with inside defense and missed freethrows (3-7 from the line so far this game). Breunig going to the line though now.

Really hope someone's shot starts falling from outside, we're going to need to hit some threes at some point against a team that's not an NAIA team.
 
Griz are playing a good floor game, particularly on offense. Shots aren't dropping. Gfeller not even close on a wide-open set shot. Still like their discipline on O. Getting good minutes from Boehning.
 
GRIZ surprisingly enough are getting the ball inside. Unfortunately, FT shooting is terrible so far. Breunig is presenting a difficult match up for Kansas. Wright needs to hit his open looks. If the GRIZ could hit their shots, this game would be much closer.
 
Couple turnovers again after Breunig hits his 3, down 27-12 now. Only 1 assist for the Griz so far. Breunig has 6 points for the Griz, Krslovic 3, Boehning with 2 and Wright with 1.
 
Oguine can athletically compete with them. He was expecting a whistle when he got popped in the mouth. I thought it was a foul too.
 
Damn had a chance to cut the lead to 10 but missed a jumper, they get a dunk on the other end then a 3 after another miss. 34-17 now.
 
Damn, great move by Oguine just couldn't finish and missed the layup. Griz down 37-20.

Griz 1-4 from 3 so far this game. Only shooting 26.9% overall (5-19). Doing well on the boards though, only being outrebounded 15-14. Need some shots to start falling though. Getting some open looks too just not hitting them.
 
Oguine with an absolutely beautiful drive to the hoop, but cannot finish. Announcers saying Oguine has a quick 1st step. GRIZ are missing a lot of open shots. Wright's shooting is horrible so far. I sure would like to see how Dunn would do against Kansas. Boehning and Breunig are doing well on the boards. I like Boehning.

Wright finally nails an open trey. Griz are getting a lot of open shots (because KU is doubling Brewing). Premier guys need to make their shots.
