Yep - higher highs and lower lows with this kind of fancy-pant equipment. The pressure is on, because you'll look dumber than usual if you're not playing well while wearing these.

The cost savings of not putting names on uniforms was $3,000. UM could save that by not scheduling a single night game.

I vote for more night games, no names and contrasting numbers that can actually be read from the stands.
 
Good, because I vote for 1980s style tear away mesh jerseys. I think Russell Athletic still has some in storage. BIKE might blow us away with some helmet/facemask designs, too! Fuck Riddell; they get nothing from us.
 
I need NAMES on the jersys. I am old and only have one eye. If the $3,000 is the issue I will put up some funds to allow us old deaf and blind folks to find out WHO did what to WHOM. Eh?

So maybe they should have names in both print and braille...
 
First off...that helmet is cool stuff. I showed my teenage sons and their eyes lit up. Kids are into this type of stuff. That helmet would get a lot of attention. :shock:
 
Don't think the helmet is anything "official" or part of athletics. Could just be a neat design someone had done. Also had someone point out that it appears to possibly be a mini helmet.
 
Athletics is making it known this helmet is 100% "fan fiction" and not part of the program's design.

Why are they listed as one of the nike sponsored teams then on line. Why does that article in the Kaiman say they are part of the Nike elite program??? I need answers damnit.
