The problem is not the question you pose - it is taking you serious and believing you actually have valid points to make on this board. Your intentions have never been one of "caring" about the Griz or the program by any means. Now you ask a serious question or is it? Your credibility is shot - not that many on this board have any. I guess BW and a few others. I personally feel the pamphlet is a waste of time. Why? Because kids/boosters don't read handouts and there is a far better way to educate them. This same scenario could have happened countless times in Bozeman and it has just not been reported or publicized. To think it has not is simply naive.

Most of my questions are serious, and the points I make are real, it's just that they usually come with a little jab or two and many on this board have really thin skins and cant see beyond that.

Not true NL. I'm the first to give credit where credit is due. And just this month, much like the GRIZ did in 1934, the cats paved their parking lot. So to suggest they aren't catching up in some respects really overlooks their recent progress. :lol:

It will take a change in the mindset of some of your fans though, a majority has made that change but the few holdouts need to be kept in check while you program has a chance to grow from this.

Is it not true that every season ticket holder is a booster because of the required GSA membership / donation to get your seats???

Any current or former season ticket holder in any sport is considered a booster, forever, even without a separate GSA donation. This is taken from Notre Dame's website:

"Not all Notre Dame alumni are considered boosters. Likewise, a booster does not have to be a graduate of Notre Dame. Boosters meet at least one of the criteria listed above. Thus, an individual who has ever made a financial contribution to the Athletics Department is a booster. In a general sense, a season ticket holder in any sport at any time is a booster. Members and financial supporters of the Notre Dame Monogram Club or any other Notre Dame athletic organization are boosters."

"Season ticket holder" - that sure is arbitrary. If I buy tickets to every home game individually and maybe even to all the road games then I am not a booster. I think that one could be reasonably challenged in court if anyone were so motivated.
