Nate Montana leaving the Griz

Maybe it was his sister and he was picking her up because she had been drinking. He didn't get a DUI if you remember.

How could we forget the good Ol' Boy network in misoula towards the Grizzle players didn't let us down. "Okay son we know you were drunk and with an underage female, but your dad is Joe Montana and hell you play for Montana, so if you promise not to let it happen again we will drop the DUI" Pretty much word for word, right? :D

Might have been his sister, but he WAS arrested for DUI and is the habit in this town (for first offenses and dumb ass drinking) he eventually plead guilty to reckless driving.

I think you missed the part where he asked for Joe's autograph.

Or this article:

The one where "we'll let things run course before taking action" or "Every situation is different" 9in regards to policy

One nondescript season of football, and one DUI to contribute to the on-going debacle under Phlu. Not too bad, I suppose. :?

Theres no H in Pflugrad. Just saying.

DUI? Who gives a Fck, I could have got dozens when I was his age.

Are you bragging about being drunk all of the time when you were 20?

He wasn't bragging. He was stating a fact that he lived life like almost any other 20 year old. Stop picking a fight over the net when you can't back it up in real life.

Did anyone ask you for your opinion, sh*t-for-brains??

Not exactly "word for word". Yet you've pretty well described my experience in Missoula where they confiscated our Bong then let us drive off with the promise of "not happening again".

Though I wasn't tied to any good Ol' Boy network. My Dad was never in the NFL. Nor was I playing for the Grizzlies. So I guess while you've accurately described a common event in Missoula, you're mistaken on the motivation for those actions.
:ugeek:

Now in an attempt to address the actual topic of this post;

Best wishes for Nate Montana!
I'm glad he played for us. When he got in he played well.
Sorry he's moving on yet I certainly understand his desire to play rather than sit.

nor did anybody ask for yours, yet you always spew your drivel, despite the fact that 95% of the posters on this board can't stand you.

*cue the "I'm rich your not, arent you late for your job at McDonalds cookie cutter response*

Hammered, I don't give a sh*t about who on this board likes me. That is high school B.S., but something you think is important in your life....being "liked"! I march to my own drummer, and it has served me very well. What is you excuse?

You march to your drummer? Christ you are rich. Who else on here has his own drummer? Wow! I march to the beat of my own drummer, but I wouldn't own a drummer that made me march to him where he was located. Don't let your drummer make you march when you don't want to march. Ok Growler? What is YOU excuse? (I mean...."your"). :P

I think playing time probably got more important to Nate when he started showing up on the lists of draftable QBs (despite the fact that he was only a Jr.) His draft stock was not going to rise much as a backup at UM, so he transferred to a school where he might get to be a starter. Not surprising at all, IMHO. Good luck, Nate. Hope you get to live your dreams.

Cute. Thanks for participating. I'll order your plastic trophy.
