MSU vs. Sac State.

Sac pretty amped up. Got that TD on the ground but got to the RZ through the air again. Clock under 4 min

I question whether our O can score enough points to stay with either of these teams. We think our D is great and they are very good but without an offense putting some points on the board we could be in for a long day.

The Cats got another great QB. And both these teams have good receivers. The Griz sure don't have a lock on talent anymore.
Griz offense scored 3 less pts against UND than msu did on the road vs at home, and With a b/u ab. With out our prime receiver and te out. But let's not let logic enter our thought process, let's just be miserable and hopeless and blame coaches.

I don't think I mentioned coach once in this post. I am neither miserable or hopeless. My point, if you will stop looking through rose colored glasses long enough to read it, was that we have not played a strong passing team yet. As good as our defense is, we will give up yards and probably points to a strong passing team. UND was moving the ball pretty well against our nickel defense today if you recall. Imagine that happening all afternoon. Will we get a good rush on their QB, probably. Will we shut done their running game? Probably. But I think you are kidding yourself if you think we will shut down these passing games. We do not have the power running game to control the game at this point in time. Nor do we know if we will have our best receivers back. None of this means I don't hope for the best and the offense really comes together. I am simply looking at it objectively.

This was one game, and an ugly game. But I am being totally rational and objective when I see us having difficulty when we play the teams with dynamic offenses. I really hope we have all our players back and I

Some don't take to kindly to objectivity on this board. Believe me, I really want my maroon colored glasses to start working again. I don't see how anyone can wear them 24/7 when some things become too obvious.

If our offense can figure their issues out, we would blow the big sky away with how good our defense is. Sigh... A man can dream

Funny. I was just having the exact same daydream watching this game.

WOW, Prukop to Brekke for a long TD. Cats back up 52-49. Problem is, 2:31 is an eternity for Sac's offense in this game.

Not to worry. Sac State has them exactly where they want them. Sure the kitties scored quick. But now the Hornies get the ball last, with about 2:30 left. Just about right to score and leave no time for MSU to flip it back.

Nuts!

Sac to mid field, holding penalty sets them back though. Not sure why they're calling QB draws.
