MSU vs. Sac State.

I question whether our O can score enough points to stay with either of these teams. We think our D is great and they are very good but without an offense putting some points on the board we could be in for a long day.

The Cats got another great QB. And both these teams have good receivers. The Griz sure don't have a lock on talent anymore.
Griz offense scored 3 less pts against UND than msu did on the road vs at home, and With a b/u ab. With out our prime receiver and te out. But let's not let logic enter our thought process, let's just be miserable and hopeless and blame coaches.

Grizbeer, I think I'm one of the most level-headed and objective posters on this board when it comes to Montana State. I don't let my dislike get in the way of what I truly think about the Cats. Having said that, I think the Cats have a fantastic offense, and actually, the Griz have NEVER had a lock on the talent in the Big Sky. The conference ALWAYS has lots of talented players. Having said that, no matter the Griz struggles right now, the Cats don't have a single player as talented as Ellis Henderson on offense, or a single player as talented as Wags on defense. That's not open for debate.

However, as I've said, I can be objective when it comes to MSU, and the Cats O is flat-out LEGIT. Cramsey's changes have paif BIG dividends and Prukop isn't playing like a soph who never started a college football game before.

Edit: sorry Grizbeer, not you, meant to direct that at the post above.

That goes for our defense as well. ND scored 3 less against us than they did against MSU. Who knows what we will give up when we play one of these offenses like EWU, MSU or ISU...

Sac might have a claim on being most screwed team by officials. Which is saying something today. Does foolery on run this circus?

You could see the 4th quarter meltdown by the MSU defense coming... They've done it all season, and Sac State will probably win this one.

I do t understand this game...read option does not work...only power football.
These must be horrid defenses....

Ha! Sac back up. How many yards of offense did these teams put up today....or how many yards did the defense give up should I say?

I don't think I mentioned coach once in this post. I am neither miserable or hopeless. My point, if you will stop looking through rose colored glasses long enough to read it, was that we have not played a strong passing team yet. As good as our defense is, we will give up yards and probably points to a strong passing team. UND was moving the ball pretty well against our nickel defense today if you recall. Imagine that happening all afternoon. Will we get a good rush on their QB, probably. Will we shut done their running game? Probably. But I think you are kidding yourself if you think we will shut down these passing games. We do not have the power running game to control the game at this point in time. Nor do we know if we will have our best receivers back. None of this means I don't hope for the best and the offense really comes together. I am simply looking at it objectively.

If our offense can figure their issues out, we would blow the big sky away with how good our defense is. Sigh... A man can dream
