Griz score 47 on Oklahoma Panhandle State.

Was 47 more than OPSU scored?
Of course it was. 47 would not have been enough for the CAT D to win though.

Fair enough. Cats could have scored 51 or 0. Same result. The crazy thing is that they pissed down their legs, again, after I read on this very site that they had it won.

From what I've seen from the cats, had McGhee played this game it would've been a different story... Regardless of the suspect defense. They are hurting without him.

Some may flame you and me but I agree. The Irish lad has the IT factor, just like JJ (see last year). The lack of our difference maker was apparent last year and I'd bet this is the same for the Cats until DM returns.

He is the leader too its tough to lose the leader on the field

I wonder how many Cat fans will follow Delaney's lead and send MaGhee get well sooner wishes? :thumb:

Yes the SCATS "D" swallowed the big one. Porous for about 3 qtrs. It reminded me of the griz D at times last year. I know they aren't that bad, but when you lose your "Q" like we did last year it has a synergistic effect on the overall performance. Shorter drives, t.o 's make the engine run hotter and breakdown inevitable. I too like to see Mt. schools win normally, but after the "r" comments, the songs, the 100,000 yellow out, the inscription on a silver Toyota...This tsunami looks to be swift and strong. You make your own bed and you have to sleep in it. Some people learn from experiences and some never do. :egriz:

I don't think the kittys would have won the game even if LBJ had played.

Ha ha ha poor sCATS....

Oh guess what more of the same next weekend from UND. However UND rolls the sCATS in a game never even close. There will be some more  over spilt milk.

Hopefully people take the high road and refrain from trolling BCN.

That being said...    at their defense

EWU and NAU are going to light them up like a christmas tree. My claim that they miss the playoffs still stands! :thumb:
Totally agree, It will be a more typical & traditional thanksgiving in kittyland

Opinions are like assholes, we all have one. Hypothetically, if the Griz were playing this contest would JJ make a difference vs hyphen at the helm. I'd argue our chances with jj are 50 % better and I'd argue it's the same with DM over Bleskin. Just observations and DM has history on his side, he comes through in the clutch, has proven it. As we saw last year the helmsman matters a LOT.

Long way to go to the end of the season. I agree, the Cats have some D problems. Anytime an offense puts up 38 points they should win. As a Cat fan, it looked to me like the Griz last season. I thought Bleskin did ok. The problem was on defense and giving up 3rd downs. It killed us. I do think we will be in there at the end of the season. Since, MD's note that he wrote to DM, I have a completely changed opinion of the Griz program. He is a totally class act. I am rooting for you guys except the last game with the Cat's. We have two excellent programs in this State. It is a good thing. I am no longer going to get caught up in all the negative smack. Life is too short. I feel fortunate to live in such a beautiful State with a lot of great people. Go Cat's and Go Griz!

Cat fans cannot blame having DM out. That defense sucked big time. Could not stop the pass. SFA even ran well the few times they did run it. Cats have a lot of work to do. I am not saying this as a GRIZ fan either, but just from a football stand point.

Remember how bad OUR defense looked with a less-than-experienced QB?

Griz were 2-2 in 2011 with an FBS loss and an embarrassing road loss as well. Lots of season left.

Yep. If the Cats bounce back and beat UND badly then their season could still end up being a good one. If they go into UND and their defense forgets to show up again...well...then it's getting to be panic time for them.
