Pretty happy to be wrong on that projection, haha. MSU in the 3rd really took over, was running the ball well and SFA fell apart. Then suddenly it was like we went back to the 1st half and SFA was firing away again and MSU went flat. Didn't see it coming, that's for sure!

Did you watch? They could have scored 100, but smartly treated it like a scrimmage in spring drills and seem to have found a dependable place kicker. That's a WIN. :thumb:

Cat fans cannot blame having DM out. That defense sucked big time. Could not stop the pass. SFA even ran well the few times they did run it. Cats have a lot of work to do. I am not saying this as a GRIZ fan either, but just from a football stand point.

Candid moment that I think parallels a lot of Griz fans. I usually want the Cats to win all of their games to the point of playing us for two reasons--we are all Montana people and it is great to beat them when they are doing well when they think they will get us. This year, though, they are especially over the top on being on the verge of a national championship. The years of getting their ass kicked by us has modified their approach to reality. They were especially bad in terms of the reaction to Jordy's unnecessary problems. So, in all honesty, I am happy they lost. Their focus on FTG for everything has gotten old.

From what I've seen from the cats, had McGhee played this game it would've been a different story... Regardless of the suspect defense. They are hurting without him.
