Hey Zoned...you do realize that the bye week is part of the league schedule? Ft Lewis btw could very well turn out to be the next Chadron! Who knows... :thumb:

We have benefited from playing "up" just like some of these teams benefit from playing the GRIZ, financially and experience wise. A little dessert isn't bad but too many cupcakes, makes you fat.
 
Interesting to see the non-conference schedule in '95 and '01. Maybe a tough non-conference schedule isn't needed to win a national championship.

In '95, the BSC schedule was tougher which made tough OOC less important. Nevertheless, Mike Price's Washington St. in '95. June Jones's Hawaii in '01 as well as FBS Idaho. All better than the competition we saw in the playoffs.

So now MSU is playing the same type schedule that we did for many years. Many of our own loveable trolls innthis thread, defended those same schedules when we had them.

Let me get this strait. Both teams play like 5 or 6 cupcakes per year and you guys are arguing about it? Other than NDSU, EWU and maybe CPSLU, who isn't a cupcake? Embarrassing argument. Sorry...
