MSU Cupcakes

Yea but who doesn't love cupcakes? Not even you guys can disagree that they are a tasty treat. Ft lewis is a joke for sure. Correct me if I am wrong, but doesn't every BSC team gorge themselves on at least 1 cupcake per year? (2 if you are the griz and squeak into the play offs....*cough* san diego state). And what is up with this E. Tennessee State team? I am assuming, like you all, that they will be a joke for the obvious reasons. However, one could argue that they could have as much success as a team with a brand new DII coach, completely new offensive system that is still being implemented, and a slew of brand new players that haven't take a legit snap in an actual college game. As for Eastern Washington....I suppose that THEY (notice how I emphasized THEY because Eastern Washington and MSU both have equal parts in this) didn't have to decide to play each other for the NC game. I suppose they could have schedule Weber or Northern Colorado. Wow, when you think about it that way, choosing to play each other for the NC game is just like choosing to play one of the best team in the BSC conference. Maybe something to be commended, at the very least not ridiculed. But hey, who am I to get in the way of your twisted griz garbage logic :thumb: . Enjoy your Tuesday ladies.
Yeah except for one obvious detail: the Griz didn't schedule SD State. They got their cupcake served on a platter. Then again if they would have missed the layoffs like the Cats then they wouldn't have had that "problem".

Do you like sprinkles on your cupcake little boy? now run along and thanks for playing.

Wait, the Griz played a cupcake in the playoffs (that you cannot correctly identify, apparently)? Does that make the Cats (who, AGAIN, embarrassed the state and missed the playoffs) a cookie? Doughnut? Danish? Scone?

If I got a 5 figure bonus for making the playoffs, I'm loading up on cupcakes as well.....gotta feed the family. ;)

Ron Ash definitely knows how to look out for Number One at the expense of players and fans, that is for sure.

It's all about commitment, CDA. As we all learned, commitent is very important to Coach Ron Ash.

Good grief, I don't think I could be a fan of a team he coached. His blatant hypocrisy makes my stomach turn.

You have no choice in who you play when you get to the playoffs. It has nothing to do with a schedule, Einstein. What a dumb post.....

Ft. Lewis and ETSU are jokes for sure, but don't draw near the laughs as a team (EWU) that schedules NAIA MT-Western. There are many HS teams that could beat Western. Neither EWU nor MSU are in the same league as NDSU, who MT plays in both '14 and '15. Cupcakes....

Noting the 2 open weekends in Sept. 2016, should UM play Western or a strong high school team for one or both of those open weekends? Has UM scheduled any non-conference games, other than OPSU, since O'Day departed? Personally, I'd rather have a full schedule than an Academic Center. Discuss.

These are O'Day schedules still but UM will play at McNeese State next year and host McNeese in 2017. That's gonna be a tough first two weeks in 17 with McNeese State and a trip to UW the following week. I'm one hundred percent confident in Kent's scheduling abilities. Look at what he's done in hoops. He got Gonzaga back on UM's schedule finally.

Do AD's do scheduling in hoops? As of a number of years ago, coaches did hoops scheduling. I don't know who has done UM's hoops scheduling in recent years.

Are you sure it was O'Day that scheduled Wyoming?

I think it was.

Be honest T-Buff fans: How many of you clicked on this thread thinking it was something else.

Looking at msu's schedule is a laugher  The HUGE gold rush opener against perennial powerhouse Fort Lewis on Thursday night(the uncertainty will stress all those gold wearing t-shirt fans out) and 16 days....yes sixteen to prepare for eastern who will be plumb tuckered out by then by then. Good grief its football season. Play the damn game Msu at a reasonable level at reasonable pace. I'm excited about our schedule. Win or not ndsu in Missoula on ESPN is going to be frickin exciting.........Fort Lewis on Thursday

For the record we had a term sheet (for a one game only) that was verbally agreed to with Jacksonville St (10-2, 8-0 OVC, #9 final ranking), and over the course of 30 days, they never signed the final contract. Their AD was completely nonresponse after multiple attempts for an update. After 30 days MSU went out and found about the last FCS team available for either one of the two remaining dates and signed a new team. JV ST sent in a signed contract immediately after they found out MSU signed with another team, but MSU kept their commitment with E TN ST. True story bro.

Commitment. Unless you will surely lose the game, always keep commitments.
