MSU champs has 0 NFL players

Is anyone telling him there is zero chance he plays in the NFL? And, by zero I mean zero, zilch, nada, none, 0...

Sounds like he needs a few voices of reason - some mentors.

I love he is a Montana kid, but he needs to just go engineer some finances...
I guess I don’t see how it matters? Why would he need a mentor. Everything is in front of him. Obviously has a long haul to have a chance. Who cares. He was drafted. Still has opportunity. When those completely dry up he can try other avenues or leave football all together. The dude is brilliant and will succeed in whatever he does. So other than griz fans making it seem like it’s the worst thing ever for a bobcat to pursue his dreams; how does this matter?

Amen. He'll make more money in the long run as a hip surgeon, but nothing wrong with following a childhood dream.

Absolutely nothing is wrong as long as those in whom he has placed his trust are honest with him regarding his realistic opportunities. I just feel the picture being painted for him is full of roses rather than the thorns he's likely facing, because of course it's in his advisor's interest to keep him on the hamster wheel. And I think that was SG's point as well.

If I'm wrong and he's been told the truth and still wants to press on, well, then Godspeed.

That was my only point. Just hope those around him are clear-eyed and honest.

I have zero doubt TM is going to be very, very successful in a field of his choice...just not on an NFL field.

Why not CFL, get on the field at QB....play! Who knows, Dickenson was either going to play FB, or medical school. But as some have noted...hip surgery recovery, who knows to what extent that factors into his plans
