Saw an article by some guy who seemed like a total quack but his assessment of the cowboy did not sound near as bubbly as these blubbies. Here some portions and excerpts:
Good find. Sounds like this guy would know better than some 20 year old punk kid pretending to be a pro scout.
You would think. But this was the same link I provided already.

I’ll take that bet for $100 donated to charity of winner’s choice. Still think he’s a 5th/6th rounder.

Can I have some of this action?

Ditto. It amazes me how some people let their hatred of everything Bobcat cloud their vision and common sense. For people saying late round draft, or even not getting drafted, what makes you disagree with almost every draft expert analyst out there, be in NFL, ESPN, etc?

Like I was going to open that, I heart cats.

I'm with you there. I simply cannot imagine any other Montana fan base's hatred for another Montana team clouding their vision and common sense for 30+ years. That would NEVER happen. EVER.

If anyone wants to bet that he will be drafted later than the third round. I will take that bet for anything you're willing to bet.

I’ll take that bet for $100 donated to charity of winner’s choice. Still think he’s a 5th/6th rounder.

Ok, just PM me the details and your on. But I'd actually rather just take your money myself.

I thought you said he was going to get drafted in the 2d round. See below. What's this 3d round stuff now?

Re: Montana's Anderson looking good.
The kid was impressive all week. You're going to look like an idiot shittinng on him. He's a kid from Dillon probably going to be drafted in the second round of the NFL draft. You just look petty dude. Be happy for him. While he may have improved his draft status, there is no way he's a 2d round dr..."

You’d think but the guy quoted in the article I stumble upon wasn’t even an “NFL scout”. He was some wind bag shrill for the bowl game, a totally biased salesman who would say anything to promote his product. I think his name might have been Willy Loman.

I think it is certainly likely that he will, but I wont be terribly suprised if he slips to the third round. But someone said he would be a 6th /7th rounder or undrafted. So I thought I'd be generous and split the difference. If you care to wager PM me the details and I'll take whatever you are willing to put up.

Under the new coach, Andersen was able to lengthen his arms.

"His arms were 32 1/8th (inches at Senior Bowl measurements). They were 31 and change (last spring), so that's better. At least they did come in a little longer than they did last spring.

406: Why are those measurements that much different?

JN: Arm length usually varies a little bit depending on who's measuring it. Usually what most teams do is they get a spring measurement, then an all-star measurement, then a combine measurement, then another pro day measurement.

Even an inch can make a difference. If you're in the 31s and below as a linebacker, that's a red flag, so at least he got over that."

His arms are disproportionately short
Can some blubbercat please explain this and how the god of Troy is so good at the inverted crab walk with this stubby little arms? Defies physics.

I never noticed his arm length although it explains the weird camera angles on the Rocking’ R Bar commercial.

I feel bad for the kid. You know what they say about men with short arms.

Garizzalies wins the moron posts on this thread. He is lost with his saying a scout with twenty years of experience is only 20 years old and then goes on to disparage him . Wow, did he graduate from UM?

Is that why Dante Olsen and Jordan Tripp didn't make it, T-rex arms? Before someone corrects me...Tripp played 5 years, 19 total tackles. If his arms were longer, easily All Pro.

Maybe Brock Coyle had longer arms.

Coyle was fluid, he could easily adjust and make plays.

Reading this thread was like listening to the high schoolers I coached in basketball, I dont know what the hell you’re talking about and I think my life is better without knowing so

Didn’t make it? Did they get paid? Did they sign contracts? I’d say they “made it”. Better pump the brakes on the Andersen all pro talk before the draft even takes place….
