Montana's Anderson looking good.

So far in 2022, the best things about the bubcats have been described in writing by independent journalists as:
“disproportionately short” and
“anti-climactic thud”.

I’m not sure if the NFL measures arms the same way as a tailor does, but I do know it would be pretty difficult to find an 18-31 dress shirt.

How does a 23yr guy’s arms grow over an inch in less than one year?
I realize MSMOO abused the hell out of this poor kid his whole career, but seriously?

Saw my dumb ass neighbor (DAN) at the mailboxes. Here’s how our chat went:

Me: Looking for that collection notice again?

DAN: F-u, the Detroit Lions will be drafting [the cowboy] in the third and could reach up to grab him earlier.

Me: Why? I heard his arms are so short he can’t “reach up and grab” anything.

DAN: Their coach is cut from the same cloth.

Me: A beaver pelt?

DAN: And they have a need to fill.

Me: Just one?

DAN: {side eye}

Me: Want to hear a joke?—Detroit lions.

DAN: Real funny. We’ll see who’s laughing.

Me: I wouldn’t wish being drafted by the lions on Putin.

DAN: I thought you would be happy and want the Lions to pick him?

Me: Putin? No.

DAN: {more side eye}

Anderson ran a 4.41 40. Very fast. The fastest LB listed. Great for him. That is elite speed. I was wrong there. Broad jump 128. 3d LB listed. Not in top 11 listed in vertical. Not in top 7 listed in bench. The last guy listed had 20. Arms 32 and 1/8. Still pretty short. Ha.

From the Combine website:

"Weaknesses

Lacks desired instincts and experience at the position.
Indecisive and unsure of assignment at times.
Very inconsistent plugging his run fits.
Loses contain angles at outside linebacker.
Too many false steps and inefficiencies in space.
Schemed into easy blitz pressures versus five-man protections.
Juked out of position in man coverage.
Struggles to locate targets and squeeze quickly from zone."

No way! Boobcats say he is #1 at everything that is football. He will be drafted round 1, because boobcats say so.

Listen, and I mean this sincerely. Choade did this kid dirty by not giving him a fucking position and letting him play it and own it for four years. The merry go round he was on position-wise hurt him tremendously come combine time. If he’d played 4 years as a LB, almost none of those issues would be there. I honestly feel bad for the guy…

Have not seen anyone say he is a 1st round pick. It was mentioned on the coverage tonight by the commentators on NFL Network that he may be a late second round pick. If he goes Second or third round that would be great. I wish him the best. He is a a great young man all the way around.

Doing dirty. One may even dub Choach a “trick ass” with what he did to this young man to save his own [trick] ass.

At 4.41, perhaps he ought to consider switching to TE? He could easily put on 20-30 lbs and he’s got the hands/moves….I don’t think he’s gonna make it as a LB.

Yet he is still at the Combine as a LB, with several accolades this last year. Not a lot of guys can excel at several positions in a college career.

Exactly. Which is why he should’ve played even more positions. I would’ve liked to see him at TE for a season, safety for a half-season, left tackle for a half-season, and fake FG touchback punter for a spell. You know, to really develop his skill set for what position he’d be at the combine? I thought about returner, but the scouting say he not best in space. Everybody talks about how Choach was a bumbling doofus, but he’s actually smart as a tack.

For us Griz fans who also like seeing Montana kids do well.

He made himself a bunch of money this weekend. If he stays healthy then he will have a long and successful career.

It appears the consensus of the so called experts was that Troy did really good. Looks like they all disagree with Garizzalie's and many of the other naysayers on here. Looks like Troy may be in for a big pay day.
