I'm just talking x's and o's here. NDSU defensive best players are DT Tanguay/Schaetz LB Deluca and CB's CJ Smith & Jordan Champion. Strong up the middle like baseball is key Then you add in Safety Chris board Tre Dempsey and we have a great passing defensive group. We'll rotate tough guys on the line & linebackers to stay fresh.

Offensively, sky's the limit for NDSU bu like said. Ground & Pound still will be the bread & butter

Yeah, me too. They (NDSU) deserve all of the recognition for their championships and they are surely the gold standard of the FCS.

Yeah, it would be one hell of an accomplishment to shut down the Bison offense on 8/29/15. The only one who will do that is coach K or coach p. Too many proven veterans and talented new additions. Potential NFL draft pick at QB, a healthy veteran o line with depth, nfl draft pick at LT, deep rb crew with a new young speedster. Dunn will break one over 60yds. 2 stud proven wr, very solid TE & FB. 40 pts is not out of the question after watching the Griz d last year. It all depends if we want to ground and pound or unleash Wentz.

So you're using our defense from LAST year and your offense from THIS year to gauge the outcome? Doesn't seem like sound logic. I'm confident we'll move the ball on you guys much more effectively this year. Our o-line was a joke last year. Our left tackle was like 260 lb true soph who had never played before and got absolutely destroyed. It was what it was, but I don't think this team has those glaring holes in it that last year's did. Our d-line will be the biggest question mark against power running teams, but we'll just have to wait and see. Again, I think you'll move the ball and score points, I'm more interested to see how our offense performs. And while it might take them a few games to get going, I still expect them to put up points right out of the gate.
