NDSU offense always has and will be smash mouth style at first, then wearing down a defense into the second half and putting on the jets. I expect this game to be 17-7 NDSU at halftime with 38-17 final.

How about the real 15 pt line? Have you jumped on that one?AZGrizFan said:Bisonation said:NDSU offense always has and will be smash mouth style at first, then wearing down a defense into the second half and putting on the jets. I expect this game to be 17-7 NDSU at halftime with 38-17 final.
If you're giving 21, I'll take that bet for any amount of money you're willing to wager.

Wrong person. Just curious if you have bet on the 15 pt spread.AZGrizFan said:westnodak93bison said:How about the real 15 pt line? Stop trying to change the subject. Are you giving 21, or are you just full of shit and blowing hot air?

I'm just talking x's and o's here. NDSU defensive best players are DT Tanguay/Schaetz LB Deluca and CB's CJ Smith & Jordan Champion. Then you add in Safety Chris board Tre Dempsey and we have a great passing defensive group. We'll rotate tough guys on the line & linebackers to stay fresh.
Offensively, sky's the limit for NDSU bu like said. Ground & Pound still will be the bread & butter

Who I suspect is going to see a lot of action. Might well be ndsu's MVP of the game.

Too many proven veterans and talented new additions. Potential NFL draft pick at QB, a healthy veteran o line with depth, nfl draft pick at LT, deep rb crew with a new young speedster. Dunn will break one over 60yds. 2 stud proven wr, very solid TE & FB. 40 pts is not out of the question after watching the Griz d last year. It all depends if we want to ground and pound or unleash Wentz.

Alaska Griz said:So you're using our defense from LAST year and your offense from THIS year to gauge the outcome? Doesn't seem like sound logic. I'm confident we'll move the ball on you guys much more effectively this year. Our o-line was a joke last year. Our left tackle was like 260 lb true soph who had never played before and got absolutely destroyed. It was what it was, but I don't think this team has those glaring holes in it that last year's did. Our d-line will be the biggest question mark against power running teams, but we'll just have to wait and see. Again, I think you'll move the ball and score points, I'm more interested to see how our offense performs. And while it might take them a few games to get going, I still expect them to put up points right out of the gate.westnodak93bison said:Yeah, it would be one hell of an accomplishment to shut down the Bison offense on 8/29/15. THIS. A much more reasoned analysis. :thumb:Bison fan in NW MN said:Alaska Griz said:So you're using our defense from LAST year and your offense from THIS year to gauge the outcome? Great game to start the FCS season.
4X champ vs FCS historical power team
Lots of question marks on both sides of the ball. New Griz offense vs young Bison defense. Good Griz defense vs potentially potent Bison offense.
3 weeks to go!!!!

11,217. Give or take.
But but but, the Bi-sons are are really good. They've won a lot of games and stuff and fans of other teams should immediately concede any games against them and they play in the bestest gym in all of Fargo and Fargo is a good town because oil and ESPN came there once and they said it was a good town because they really believed it and not to defend the decision to come there and it was the greatest day in Fargo history and you need to recognize them as the best ever even though their fans act like a rookie NBA player who just got a signing bonus and if you don't, then you don't know anything and they are the bestest best team and you are not entitled to have another opinion on your own teams message board and their fans are fat lazy annoying f***[*] idiots.
After reading most of this thread, it looks like the only idiot is yourself.

Where? You said you expect 38-17. That is a 21 point differential. I'm willing to bet you that it's NOT a 21 point differential. So either you have bet the house on NDSU covering the 15 point line, or you don't believe your own words.
