You guys are really playing into the schizophrenic griz fan stereotype. Many of you post about how overrated McGhee is and then when he gets hurt you state how the cats cant live without him.

Truth is McGhee is good. Truth is the cats have good depth. The truth is the cats don't accomplish what they have the last 3 years without a team effort. Truth is they probably won't be as good without him, but don't underestimate the cats. These are not the cats of Solomonson or Hysell or even Kramer. They have upgraded the athleticism of the entire team and are relevant again and with the facility improvements, they are likely here to stay.

The biggest mistake you can make is to underestimate your enemy. The cats have a schedule very advantageous to breaking in a new quarterback.

And don't underestimate the impact of the loss of their very good qb and playmaker on their offense, and on the confidence of the team (especially if Bleskin faulters). You realize that none of us are playing? Can't imagination the underestimation of the Cats by posters on egriz is going to have any significant impact on the outcome of a game.

They won't miss a beat. No one will miss McGhee. The CMR coach once said Bleskin reminded him of DD. Further proof that the Cats have a conference MVP and Payton award winner ready to take over. The evidence to support this is so strong that even some Griz posters are helping spread the word to Griz nation. Someone should start a roll call thread to have all UM egriz posters go on record agreeing that the Cats will not miss a beat, and UM should be careful what it wishes for.

I know, right? And when you type your opinion up they wanna attack you. I don't believe a thing about what they believe Bleskin can do. I just read an article on FB that he is 5/8 and 46 yards over his career. Yes, I realize he is young and I'm not cuttin on the kid but how is anyone able to make an accurate assessment of what he can do with this stat? I'm not buyin it. For one, I seem him play against Monmouth and he didn't do a whole heck of a lot, 5/8 and 46 yards. I think he was in for most of the 4th Quarter. I'm not buying it for a second. If he gets out there and does make big plays, and not against anyone in their cupcake schedule in the next few weeks, against a formidable opponent, I might raise an eyebrow. But until then....

The Bleskin stats you posted above look more like his career stats. He was 2-4 for 28 against Monmouth.

grizatwork. From what I've seen on Egriz since the day DeNarius McGhee became the starter at MSU is about 5-10 regular posters and occasionally a newbie who actually post negatively about DeNarius. Do you know what percentage of Griz Nation 5-10 people is? I don't know the exact number but it's miniscule at best. In real life, face-to-face, I have yet to meet a Griz fan who doesn't have a tremendous amount of respect for DM, and will be so glad the day he graduates. Me included. Once again, Chris Lynn is a great guy and I'm so glad he put this thing together years and year ago. But Egriz does not reflect every opinion of every member of Griz Nation around the world.

Trust me, in the non-cyber, non-anonymous world of the Griz-Cat rivalry, Griz fans respect the hell out of DeNarius and know how good he is.

Watching the cats against SMU, they are better than I thought. I think they have a great schedule for the situation. DM will help JB a lot while on the side lines.

The Griz lose to UND and the Cats, but the Cats handle the Griz. The Griz will be better off if DM plays, a shoulder is hard to heal. Jake will have plenty of experience by then.

At this point the Griz haven't proved anything with a win over App State.

Remember I am a fan of all three, not a homer comment.

For one, it tells us that he has very little experience as a college qb. It certainly doesn't tell us that he will instantly be a great qb and will be able to step seamlessly into the shoes of a 4th year conference mvp qb. You can feel free to tell us what you want after any game, but you're setting this up so that Bleskin is going to get trashed by some Griz fans if he doesn't do very well.
