QB A: 56/89, 62.9%, 566 yards, 3 TD, 4 INT, 13 sacks (long of 54, ironically, very first pass of the season)
18 rush attempts, -106 yards, -5.9 ypc
QB B: 40/66, 60.6%, 505 yards, 4 TD, 0 INT, 5 sacks, (long of 41, in the last game)
52 rush attempts, 225 yards, 4.2 ypc, 2 TD’s
Which one should be the starter. As he gets more and more comfortable, QB B seems to excel in BOTH areas…Bobby’s inability (or unwillingness) to make a freaking decision in camp and his wishy-washy 2 QB system in all likelihood cost us the NAU game and almost the Ferris State game…
Not being a wise ass. There is no debate to be had at this point. McDowell has the job and is 3-0. Team seems to be firmly behind him. He has the qualities of a good leader. I have nothing against Vidlak and would like to see him get some time, but it isn’t happening against Idaho unless McD totally craps the bed. His running ability is very good and he did pretty well yesterday. He needs to work on his long ball and missed a TD because he didn’t get a little more hang time on a post route. Tough to be critical of him. He just flat got the job done.
