The o- line was pretty good last year. 2 all conference players plus Walker. It worked well.

It worked so well they ended up in 6th place

Hoops measures success differently than literally anyone else.

6th place with 2 all conference players? Yay!!!

Translation: 6th is 1st and 1st is 1st, but 2nd is 2nd and 3rd ain’t 1st, yet if you ain’t 1st, you’re last!

The top indicators of success are playoff wins and post-season poll ranking.

The only indicator is winning national championship. Post-season polls mean nothing. This nightmare is about over.

Playoff WIN. Singular. That’s the most he’s gotten in a year in 2.0.

I was saying the team has had playoff wins in those 3 years and they have. Why do you ignore nos. 6 rankings and 10 game win seasons? Bad memory?

I’m honestly not sure why it always has to be one or the other I think they should use them throughout the game and take advantage of their strengths

Since vidlak signed with the griz, you've claimed he would be all conferance a couple times in his time here

Do you think a part-time starter is worthy of those accolades?

I stand my statement he will be. Have you seen his arm talent. He spins the ball as good as anyone since Jordan Johnson. He’s only a sophomore. Give him a minute.

First time watching this Griz this year. McDowell is a clone of Matt McKay.

I was literally just thinking that and wondering if he will have the fortitude to handle the colder weather. The issue is we don’t have a Tommy Mellott on our squad.

A Griz fan buddy of mine made the comparison and it's eerily accurate.

I would say he is closer to Chambers with the gamer mentality than he is McKay. But we will see come November for sure.

McDowell is a way better passer than runner
Man do you ever have that backwards....

QB A: 56/89, 62.9%, 566 yards, 3 TD, 4 INT, 13 sacks (long of 54, ironically, very first pass of the season)
18 rush attempts, -106 yards, -5.9 ypc
QB B: 40/66, 60.6%, 505 yards, 4 TD, 0 INT, 5 sacks, (long of 41, in the last game)
52 rush attempts, 225 yards, 4.2 ypc, 2 TD’s

Which one should be the starter. As he gets more and more comfortable, QB B seems to excel in BOTH areas…Bobby’s inability (or unwillingness) to make a freaking decision in camp and his wishy-washy 2 QB system in all likelihood cost us the NAU game and almost the Ferris State game…
