Counting Davis, there are six games left. Griz could end up first, second or third. Or, seventh eighth, or nineth. Sixth is NOT a shoe-in. Faith can move mountains, but it can't score touchdowns, said a wise old Vigilante.

Where does 3-5 put us?

The fact we we have people now trying to argue that 6th place in the Big Sky isn't so bad and doesn't matter along with how we should be happy with this coaching staff despite not delivering for 6 years, talk about a whole new level of delusion and blind loyalty to mediocrity. 3-5 puts us missing the playoffs after 6 years of "RTD" and hopefully a new coaching staff built around the best candidates available and not Montana Connections.

A coaching staff that brought a no. 33 team back to nos. 6, 6 and 14 in years 2, 3, and 14, playoff each of those years, playoff wins each of those 3 years, two 10 win seasons, and an average post-season poll ranking better than all but 4 FCS teams in that last 3-year period.

Why do so many Griz "fans" want to turn UM into Nebraska?

Because a lot of Griz fans understand what the standard should be, given all the advantages inherent within the program, and they aren't all boot-licking homers.

Keep on trying to polish a turd, moving goalposts isn't helping you here in the slightest. Rankings don't mean a damn thing if you can only win 1 playoff game a year at best (if we make it at all), fail to beat MSU or win the Big Sky, no one cares who was ranked at the end of the year, only who won the NC and to a smaller extent their Conference. You're also purposely ignoring the full context, like the fact this is this staffs 6th season and we have appeared to have gotten worse, not better on both sides of the ball.

Why are so many Griz "fans" happy coming up short every season, outside of course the ones who are protecting their buddies on the coaching staff.

This is the fifth season for this staff unless you count the undefeated 2020 covid spring season. You stretch the facts to support your narrative.

I don't move goalposts. Everything I said is accurate. You ignore reality.

Yes, being ranked nos. 6 and winning 10 games two years in a row, is a big deal, and it can't be ignored. UM clobbered MSU in 2021. How's your memory?

No, the team was no. 33 in the year prior to Hauck returning. There has been considerable improvement. You just want to focus on 2022 when Johnson was hurt and the Griz couldn't recover to make a big run. You ignore that the team is 4-1 this year. Yes, things may go poorly, or they may go well. We shall see.

Which Griz fans are happy? I know of none. Why are Griz fans like you unhappy when the team has accomplished what it has so far, especially the playoffs and good rankings? Answer: because you are complainers and don't understand the game.

Taking away the 2020 season doesn't change the fact we have only gotten worse for the last 2 seasons on both sides of the ball, getting worse after 5 seasons is just as bad as 6, nice try.

The Griz didn't get worse on D in 2022. The Griz D is pretty good this year. This season is still in progress. Why complain so much? Why not root for the team? You will have plenty of time to complain later if the team falters.

Here we go with the "don't understand the game" bullshit you love to spew. Guess what you're not the end all knowledge of College Football, in fact you have some of the most God awful takes I've ever seen. All your opinions are biased, not rooted in reality and yes you constantly move the goalposts and state things out of context before resorting to personal attacks for once again being proven wrong.

Rankings don't mean shit, early exits in the playoffs, not winning the Big Sky and 1-4 vs MSU is not RTD. You are the one who doesn't understand or care and continually makes excuses:

-Johnson hurt? Injuries happen, other teams can perform just fine with them (see MSU) not an excuse

-4-1, by struggling with a Pioneer, D2 and one of the worst defensive teams in the country, beating a team still transitioning to FCS and getting humiliated on the road. Keep it in context

I do support this team, which is why I'm not afraid to call out the issues this team has, in particular at the coaching level. Call me a complainer all you want, the team hasn't looked good this year, rather be a fan willing to point out flaws then bury my head in the sand and ignore it.

Guess what you don't understand the game. I have seen that in your posts for you. Never played the game either, did you?

Again, I don't move the goalposts. You ignore reality. How did MSU perform against SDSU last season when both of their QB's got hurt? How did the 49ers perform in the NFL playoffs when their QB got hurt? Most teams don't perform as well without their starting QB. Had to played the game or understood that, you would know that. I haven't said anything in this thread about the 2023 season, except that it's still in progress.

Let's see how many dumb arguments you can come up with.

Claim I ignore reality when you turn around and ignore reality, like when you claimed the Griz had a better O-Line before trying to say you were trolling (no one believed it btw). You a hundred percent move goal posts, went from saying how people's concerns don't matter/how were a top Big Sky team to "only rankings matter". You have no idea what you're talking about, there's this thing called Depth and other teams have it while.the Griz don't, that's the issue with depending on transfers wver single year at QB. If you actually played the game you'd understand that, now que another personal attack, lame deflection ex.
