Did you even bother to look at the criteria for ranking the colleges in the Forbes article? It had ZERO to do with ranking for academic excellence, and was totally about getting the best education "for the money". Nice try. Us News & World report is a liberal, almost far-left wing publication. It's ranking are all skewed towards the liberal institutions, such as the Ivy League schools. I am a business man, and former CEO of a multi-million dollar company. I currently sit on two boards. I attended a six-week business course at Wharton.

Business people of my caliber know which universities graduate the most business-ready individuals, which is why we hire from those universities. I would NEVER hire any graduate from Brown, or Columbia. But, UVA grads are among the most coveted hires, because of their well-rounded and PRACTICAL education, making them more ready to hit the ground running after being hired.
