Anyone live in Kalispell? I'm thinking about applying for a job there and haven't lived in Montana since 1999. Was hoping for some inside info on the city.

I am not sure what kind of work you are looking for. It took me 6 months to get on full time with full benefits at a decent company and okay wage. It was a frustrating experience to say the least. Fortunately, I had saved money from my previous employers and my part time business helped in the transition. I am making a lot less than I was out of state, but very happy to be home.

If you are looking just to start work quickly, LC Staffing, Express Personnel, and Spherion are all great temp agencies. Also indeed.com is great for finding job leads. Also retailers are always hiring. For me, retail is not something I was looking for.

Either way, hope something works out.
Well this started as a smartazz post in this dumpster fire of a thread, but Appreciate the quick response. I'm a physician and there's some opportunity at the hospital. Don't know a lot about the healthcare there as far as perception in the community, but research shows that it looks good.

Yes, I would venture that care for health is perceived as a positive thing in the community.

Well get your butt back to MT and become MTDOC!!

So instead of accepting you've been beaten over the head by numerous people who have trotted out actual facts and cited them, Mr Pickles resorts to namecalling and referring to anything that doesn't support his case as "liberal media." Got it.

i would never accept "facts" from individuals who know nothing about a topic. Reading a socialist rag does not qualify one as an expert on anything. Neither does a degree in calf-roping from Wyoming.

I would bet it qualifies one to be a hell of a calf roper.

You are a physician? What sub-specialty? I am very familiar with the medical marketplace in Kalispell. Many of the specialties are over-placed there, because it is a desirable place to live. They could use a dermatologist, or interventional radiologist, that I know.

Probably be better at that than he is as a big-shot board monitor. Quite sure he was a hall monitor in high school, and kinda liked the power he got then.

Reading your post, I would think a few more good psychiatrists would be a good thing...

Oh, I get it. It's a calf roper joke! Sorry you feel bullied because you've been beaten over the head by literally everyone in this thread. :(

Sorry you were proven wrong, again. That must suck. It must suck even more to be unable to admit it. Idiot.

Wait, did he do one of those "Executive" MBAs that they advertise in the in-flight magazine? Ha! Please tell me he did!

A little more deference to the guy with a six week class at Wharton.

You know nothing about Wharton, obviously, otherwise you would know that they offer a very prestigious 6-week executive course for senior corporate executives. Why don't you Google it instead of continually showing your stupidity?

i'm sure you think Wharton is a scab on the back your ass.

jealous much? I accomplished more by the age of 35 than will in your lifetime. I don't have an MBA, which is why I took the Wharton accelerated course. Where is your MBA from, Whattsamatta U.?

Titleist sucks as a person, and is even worse as a moderator. Hey big shot, wanna play golf for money?? I hear you think you're pretty good.

Dude, those programs are very widely regarded as nothing more than revenue generators preying on prestige whores who want to say they went to X school. The "degree" is meaningless and most people laugh at the programs. Sorry you fell victim, but I'm sure Wharton appreciated your donation.

At about $11,000 a week, I'd bet Wharton gives out some asskickin' participation ribbons!

Holy shit! What a waste. I actually kind of feel bad for him.
