Yes, for seven years, and expecting our first grandchild. Sorry. And, her husband's also an engineer, who makes more than she does. We just sit back in awe!

You are correct, but don't muddy the water for these academic mavens, graduating from such stellar institutions as Wyoming, and Western Montana. But they read U.S. News & world Report, so they are all experts on the best colleges in the nation. Williams College ranked #1. Who would have guessed? Sure glad we got that rag to set us straight. I won't waste my money on those shit-hole educations like Stanford and Duke any longer. Williams, here we come baby!!!!

i would never accept "facts" from individuals who know nothing about a topic. Reading a socialist rag does not qualify one as an expert on anything. Neither does a degree in calf-roping from Wyoming.

I am not sure what kind of work you are looking for. It took me 6 months to get on full time with full benefits at a decent company and okay wage. It was a frustrating experience to say the least. Fortunately, I had saved money from my previous employers and my part time business helped in the transition. I am making a lot less than I was out of state, but very happy to be home.

If you are looking just to start work quickly, LC Staffing, Express Personnel, and Spherion are all great temp agencies. Also indeed.com is great for finding job leads. Also retailers are always hiring. For me, retail is not something I was looking for.

Either way, hope something works out.
